Curious to know what the prevailing opinion is on Freemasonry among the MGTOW forums.
Although I have never spoken to anyone associated with the organization, I have heard plenty of colorful conspiracy theories regarding their political influence.
So far, the only correlation I can see between MGTOW and such a fraternity is the emphasis on brotherhood and sticking to their oaths, even if it means not telling their wives.
Somebody asked this question last week. There is a thread on it.

Missed that, thanks.
All you have to do is look up testimonies of former members higher up in the ranks to understand this organization is not what it appears to be. There are a lot of videos and evidence to back these claims up. Personally I would not join an organization that makes you take an oath that goes against the tenants of God. Here is some examples of the Oaths being taken and how the go against God: Link
If you are a atheist or don’t belong to a traditional religious affiliation you will fight right in along with these other men.Former member who talks like a male feminist here

Look up Bill Schnoebelen a 90th degree mason (33 is not the highest degree) there is a secret society within a secret society. Here he talks about it more. You can also look up Manly P. Hall another 33rd degree mason who wrote over 150 books on the occult, alchemy, freemasonry exposing some of their secrets. Hope that helps there is so much info out there it would take days to post.
Edit: meant to say fit right in not fight will not allow me to change it but you get the idea anyway.
I am not a Mason but my father was. I have a neighbor that was friends with him as far back as 1982 and he is a Mason. Earlier this month, my pipes froze and then burst in 7 different places in my bathroom. I was in trouble and he helped me out when no one else would. I couldn’t start my car but he gave me a jump when no one else was around. If anyone wants to knock the Masons, I have to ask: Where were YOU when I needed help?

Anonymous42They’re always giving away free masonry like bricks and concrete blocks on CL.

Read “Morals and Dogma” by Albert Pike and then read it again. You will learn much Esoteric Wisdom.

Anonymous38My thread from last week
As an aside I’ve decided to meet with them to see if I want to pursue further.. I can update in the next few weeks.
Lucifer is the source of all human wisdom.
There. That’s the big secret of Freemasonry.
It’s complete horse s~~~.

I am a mason and I can tell you if you simply attended a meeting your thoughts regarding conspiracy theories would soon vanish. Let me add that I am the biggest of all conspiracy theorists and I can assure all, although I doubt some will believe, that the idea the masons control the world, are associated with the illuminati, etc… is complete bunk.
100’s and even thousands of years ago there was little communication between villages, countries and continents. Masonry established a system where men of good moral character could get together for the common good. The secret symbols and hand shakes allowed men confirmed to be of good character to travel to other locales and be accepted as being honourable men without having their reputations proceed them within the lodge.
Although I no longer practice masonry, only because the meetings are boring, I have in the past travelled to places where I knew no one and showed up to a lodge only to find dozens of new friends. That all it is.
It is worth becoming a Mason simply to experience the initiation ceremony. I cannot relate any details, obviously, but I can say the initiation is designed for one purpose only:
To confront you with your own death and by doing so prepare you for that final moment. By doing so you realise your life on this planet is finite and that it is paramount to use what little time you have on the planet to better yourself and become the best man you can be.
We do not EVER speak of women in the lodge and they are not permitted. This is a nice experience for the MGTOW, unlike here where we are MGTOW but talk about women incessantly. So think of it this way… ITs like being an MGTOW, just like this site, except while at lodge for a couple of hours you don’t think about or talk about women.
Come to think of it maybe I will start going to lodge again.
I agree. I am also a active Freemason in good standing and have been so for many years. I’ve learned that it is unnecessary to defend the Order from those who have not actually sought to know truth about it. However, it is a still rare to see a thread on it here so I’d like to chime in. It is for men through and through and only us.It is a path for betterment and self mastery and transcends minor human distinctions such as culture, religion and race. Some brethren are blue pilled and some are not, as in any other place. It is not for every man and that is fine. It is only for those who have developed a favorable opinion and seek admission. No outside view of the uninitiated will ever paint a clear picture of what it is about, what it does and why. The closest someone has gotten to painting a clear picture has been Manly P. Hall(before he became a member) in a book called The Lost Secrets of Freemasonry. That paints the most accurate picture of our aims that I have ever seen from someone not initiated in a regularly constituted Lodge. Be aware there are many bogus lodges out there as well. Just my two cents.

Yeah after thinking about it there are some masons who are blue pilled. But having said that you still will not be talking about women in lodge.
Here is an interesting story … I got stuck on my way from San Diego CA to Calgary in Winnemuca NV during a freak once in a century blizzard. I waited out the storm for two days at a hotel there. While eating dinner a fellow mason approached me after seeing my masonic ring. We got to talking at it turned out we had more than masonry in common: We had the same birthday, we were driving the same make, model and year of car and we were doing the exact same trip, except he was on his way to San Diego and I was going back to Calgary.
It is their insistence on secrecy that makes people suspicious of the Masons. If you join the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, etc. do they put you through a infantile like imitation ceremony and insist that you keep some secret? Reminds me of a bunch of college fraternities.

Intuition is screaming that this is some kind of code probably revealing or confirming the status of one of you to another.
Waiting for a response. In the meantime I’ll go solve a puzzle or two.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. - Aristotle
Warrior asked Fear, “How can I defeat you?” Fear replied, “If you don’t do what I say, I have no power.”It is their insistence on secrecy that makes people suspicious of the Masons. I think I explained this in a previous comment. The secrecy is to provide a way of vetting men created in an age before background checks.

From reading about the Mexican War of 1845, it was said Sam Houston did not execute Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna because they were both Masons. If so, I can’t see how Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna could be considered or honorable character, given the carnage and cruelty he displayed both at and after the Battle of the Alamo. Secrecy only creates suspicion.

I’ve got just about all of Manly P Hall’s books. I’m not a Mason, but I definitely agree with 90% of their teachings. I keep saying this, but really “Morals and Dogma” by Albert Pike is a treasure trove of wisdom for anyone interested in this subject. It is worth every penny buying the hardcover version.
