I am quietly religious but it never fails to amaze me how atheists seem determined to “prove” that God doesn’t exist. They are on a big mission to say “I told you so” and it shows their own insecurities about the whole subject

The greater part of being a MGTOW is not trying to force others to go your way. If you do you’re being a hypocrite. Preaching self sovereignty and then demanding that others adopt your religious or atheist views is a duplicity I would not expect to see from a sovereign Man. If you love your god and have peace with that, I accept it. If you don’t believe in god and have peace with it, I accept it. How hard is it to live and let live.
It’s your battle and I have no say in how you should fight it.

As a Theist, it is impossible for you to see it from the viewpoint of the Atheist. It’s not at all about trying to ‘force’ someone to change their beliefs. It’s about trying to encourage the Theist to just open their eyes.

One of the purposes of this forum is to ‘preach’ MGTOW with the goal being informing others of the ‘reality’ of what women are actually all about. We feel that we owe it to our fellow men to get the truth out. We’re not trying to force them to go MGTOW. We’re spewing the truth in an effort to get them to just open their eyes.

Theism, like the Blue Pill, is the denial of reality. I’ve have personally seen the damage that it does to an individual when they trust in a non-existent god for help and that god is a no-show. I just like to think that it might be possible to spare just one other person that sort of mental anguish and level of despair.

However you are correct in the sense that if you’re happy denying reality and it works for you, then the Atheist shouldn’t be trying to change your mind. It’s rather futile and pointless anyway if you even refuse to just listen. Like the Blue Pill guy that I know who’s thinking about getting married for the 5th time. You can only lead the horse to water. That’s one primary reason the Atheists do what they do.

I myself see it as a ‘due diligence’ thing to present the truth and to just make you aware of it. It’s of course up to the individual to either accept it or reject it. There’s no ‘forcing’ anyone to change.

Atheism, like MGTOW, is just an effort to free people from their self delusion for their own benefit. But, like the hard line Blue Pill guy, the the Theist just can’t see it that way…

Before I watch it, can I be sure that it includes proof that Jesus never existed? Or is it just someone’s opinions, speculation etc. ?

The “Jesus Never Existed” video tries to illustrate that ‘Jesus’ was just a Pagan personification of what was originally sun worshipping. It’s a interesting watch but I personally wouldn’t endorse it.

The Richard Carrier video is shorter and uses history to show that Christianity is nothing more than a mix-match of various pre-existing religious beliefs, gods and stories. I thought it seemed a little more credible.

DISCLAMER: I have no intention of trying to
FORCE anyone to change their beliefs! I just present the facts. It’s up to each individual to make their own determination on whether to accept or reject them…

I feel people would be better off just acknowledging the reality that there is no god and face life’s troubles and tribulations knowing that there’s no magical sky daddy who’s going to bail them out.

Perhaps you’re an Atheist who hasn’t seen the damage that Theism does, and that’s okay. It seems that we’re just two different Atheists with different points of view about Theism.

You don’t believe in God, good for you, I used to be one of you. Some people have belief in a higher power due to life experiences. There’s also a notion that a god may exist and so also allowed mother nature to “take it course.” Whatever the truth is, just be good person and look to yourself to attain peace. Treat others well and try to create goodness around you.

What do you gain by lecturing people in how wrong they are to believe in a deity? It’s a man’s right to believe what he wants, and people MUCH smarter than you have failed to changed their minds. Your ideas are someone else’s, you’re just regurgitating it…big f~~~ing deal.
