So I work at a calling company.
My bosses are ALL women. I am the only male in the building with 10+ females. All I hear all day is constant giggling and all the s~~~ they get paid to talk. So, I have been here for a month and came in clutch when they where understaffed. I excelled at this job, sales and customer service. Thats my s~~~. So my job consists of making outbound calls to newly registered clients and welcome them whilst making a pitch for a potential sale.
I have an excel spreadsheet I must update daily, manually format, and call every single number on that list and log the results of the call. Overall, I make more than 250+ calls DAILY. We also have inbound calls that are in essence customer support and trouble shooting. You get maybe 1-3 inbound calls per 30 minutes. We all get paid 10$ an hour at the entry level. So, I am the only one that does onboarding simply because im so good at it, and those who have been there longer than me are picky and either dont want to or are just plain trash at doing it.
In essence, I do triple the work for less money. I dont have a second where im not busy. Yet, the females that work here that are not my bosses watch “Caso Cerrado” as they wait for inbound calls that practically stop coming in after 4pm because of the time zone difference. So they get paid 14$ hourly to watch netflix and facetime their boyfriends and I get paid 10$ an hour to do triple the work that these “exemplary” employees never did.
I confronted my only male boss about it, and hes on the same boat just as a manager. They slapped a “manager” tag on him yet still make him do the footwork of a grunt whilst balancing 2 jobs. He agrees with me and explained to me how we are short staffed and how Im the only one who is qualified to do the job. I told him either give me a raise, or balance out the work load. He said hes gonna “work” on giving me a raise because our female bosses say ive been here too little time to be eligible for a raise.
The only reason Im doing it is because I have a broken arm, and this job doesnt require any physical labor. And technology is my domain, so im comfortable, but irked with the preference towards the women. How should I proceed. Im on the brink of giving them the ultimatum of giving me a raise, or im out and they have to scramble for someone as competent as me or more to replace me (which wont happen). How should I proceed?
You can bring a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
People who work the hardest tend to be paid the least, seems to be a universal constant in ‘office’ jobs.
You ain’t exactly ghosting telling the world where you work.
The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape, finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. Marcus Aurelius
Its bulls~~~, thats why im going to start working smarter rather than harder

Well played son.
I just read a book called the 10x Rule – made me think of this.
F~~~ THOSE BITCHES. Go in. Smash your work. Go home.
Protect Your Sovereignty. Women WILL TRY To Manipulate You. #NOCONTACT #ICETHEMOUTDon’t worry about what other people are doing in their petty lives.
They might mock you for working HARD but you’ll be the one laughing in a few years time.
Keep it up.
Protect Your Sovereignty. Women WILL TRY To Manipulate You. #NOCONTACT #ICETHEMOUTA call center and a hive? Who did you p~~~ off in your last life? My condolences brother.

You’re getting screwed up the ass without Vaseline!
How should I proceed?
Give them 3 weeks to rectify the situation or be gone. Unless you need them more than they need you, of course.
Either they lighten your workload, give you a raise or they can go f~~~ themselves! So you have a broken arm and you’re not getting any kind of remuneration until it’s healed? You have no unemployment insurance due to accidents?
I’m also starting work as a customer representative. All inbound calls, all sorts of issues.
The place is filled with bitches but the gender ratio as far as supervisors is pretty even.
Gender ratio as far as employees goes like 30-70. Plenty of room to get in trouble and there’s already 4 or 5 T~~~s who thinks I’d be a cucked ambulant-wallet bluepiller.
I’ll be happy to disappoint them! I won’t even think about pump’n’dump with co-workers! I do my work and get the f~~~ out.
HR, on the other hand, is pussy-ruled but from what I’ve seen so far they’re not C~~~s, just bitches. They just helped resolve a small issue today and I can’t complain with the way they’ve handled it.
And the pay is good and fair across the board so I’ll stick with it.Don’t let yourself be ridden like a mule! Demand fair treatment or go see if the grass is greener somewhere else.
Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!
Give 'em NOTHING, not even an answer!

Exactly. I’m going to formally let them know today that they have 3 weeks to tighten up, or im out. They need me way more than I need them.

My advice would be to stop caring how much work they do or get paid. The important thing is you. Are you making enough money to do what you need too? Can you get to work everyday and do your job? If so that is all that matters. If you just started then yea your going to be doing all the s~~~ work for a while, that is usually what happens.
Also never give 100% when you start a new job. Give 40% so it looks like your making great progress when you actually do start to put in more effort. It gives the illusion you really care about your job and your trying hard to improve. If you start off doing your best work, they will only expect you to get better. its all about low expectations.
As long as you show up to work everyday it doesn’t really matter how good you are at a job. Unless you are trying to climb the payroll ladder of course, but if this is just a temp job don’t work any harder than you have too.
You want to make me angry? I will take a bite out of that anger and shit out success.
UPDATE – Lmao the most priviledged woman here just hit me on our group chat telling me to call the ONE onboarding call she has, because the dude doesnt understand her and she wants me to do it instead.

Working in a call center… good grief. The only thing that’s worse is cold selling on commission.

If that’s the case, give them the ultimatum and watch them sweat.

Plan your exit from thereAs I type this I feel like punching the monitor due to the sheer stupidity and ignorance of the age group of our clients. They dont even know how to install a f~~~ing application off the app store. All I get are old school cubans who call complaining about a problem they couldve easily solved themselves. Its driving me f~~~ing insane, yet the bitches get to chill and the best cubicles, etc. F~~~ this s~~~. A red pill a day…

In “business”, EVERYONE is Expendable…..
@Awankened Very prudent words. Just realize at any job you will more than likely be replaceable. They will simply find someone to fill in the void. Even if they are less qualified. Trust me.
If I were you, I would be putting in applications and resumes elsewhere.
How are your KPI’s and performance reviews?
These could be key for you to getting a better job.

This is very key. It’s all about perception. Make it seem like it’s challenging, but you are learning. This sets the tone to prevent you from being everybody’s mule.
Go in, work, and get out.
That’s how you ghost at work.
Fuck bitches... literally and metaphorically

i made the mistake of painting a target on myself by going absolute ham the first week and out-shining everybody there. I shouldve made them think it was really challenging and then gradually just work at what to me is bare minimum and to them what is top level effort
Since I went in with top level effort, that was the default margin for how im expected to perform EVERY time. Next time Ill set the bar low so they get the illusion of “making progress” thanks bros
