This is nearly as heinous as that affluenza kid. She’s technically sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison but only has to serve 15 months if she’s good.

The first article I read today (not the final update) implied she’d only get probation – I nearly lost my s~~~.

I’m satisfied she’ll suffer, but 15 MONTHS for a life lost is not a damn equivalent of suffering. It’s time for equality in our justice system.

I know I am in the minority here, but I consider the guy who killed himself a bully. They both had psychological problems, and were attracted to tragedy. I read the texts. He was depressing and would not leaver her alone. He was the manipulator in this case, in my opinion. Finally, she caved and said either put up or s~~~ up, essentially. He put up. He would not lever her alone, and while it’s easy to say she should just ignore him, the human heart is not that simple, and teenage relationships are a ball of emotion and ignorance.

I just read all the texts. It’s important to remember that these are two kids, adolescents, immature & don’t have their cognitive capacities fully formed. Could this have happened between two adults. I doubt it.
