In 2015. I wanted to travel abroad and buy a few things to ship home without duty. This requires CA$H, so I wanted to take 9K cash with me. I had 2 branch managers from 2 different banks tell me that the CTR buffer was lowered to 8,000 now .Even though the limit is 8K, the TSA will “scribe” any amount over 2500 if you travel International.

The longer I’m alive, the more satisfaction I think that I would get from watching the system get destroyed from something like an asteroid impact or Yellowstone Caldera erupting or the Canary Islands launching a tsunami at the East Coast. It’d be fun watching all those assholes in Congress and TSA fret over the complete collapse and annihilation of THEIR system.
