I knew. a guy that played amature hockey. Both teams would have a meal afterwards.
I asked him how does that work, after all the fights.
He said, once your off the ice, its like it never happened.
I couldnt understand that.
But now I do.

Slept in my car last two nights. Currently in a b&b for 4days. Ain’t so bad sleeping in the car, although winter can be tough. About 5years ago slept in my car for 4-5months, actually got a sense of freedom, whether I could do it long-term is debatable.

I get it. You guys have a long standing feud from many other threads.

I like the disagreements on this forum; I don’t want this place to become an echo chamber.

What I’d like to see is arguments addressing the other guy’s ideas, rather than his character.

I don’t see what THX posted as anything other than a positive thing.

Yeah, its like that where I live too. 2008 broke the back of America. America went to s~~~ under George W. Bush. Its not even the same country as it was in the 1990’s. I never could have imagined this when I was a kid.

Pretty disgusting some of the comments about the old man. As usual the ones telling you to let the man starve are the Christians. Although, they are the furthest thing from Jesus Christ life example. That’s why Phoenix calls it Church-ianity.

No Compassion from the Church Crowd.

A lot of these old men are veterans too. They risked their lives for their God and Country and look how it pays them back….

The sexual discrimination in shelter funding (in favour of women) is criminal. In Sydney, 82% of homeless people are male.

Trust me, I see the difference between the good Christians and the men who hide behind religion to serve and justify their bigotry. A few of the Christians here are my favorites guys on the site, and others are the ones I despise the most, I feel like I have been nice to some of them way too long.

Thanks man, I have always been like this, even gave a lady in the streets who was behind a building crying my last fifteen dollars when I was a kid. I am not a rich man, so the forty bucks or so I have spent on this guy is actually money that I could have used as well. I don’t go overboard though, but I see how society has used up and failed it’s men and I help em out from time to time.
