i am going to write this piece without any effort to persuade anyone. whether you believe it or not, that is ok with me.

i would post and comment more, but one of the main reasons i do not is because i mourn.

i mourn because i know more now about how things actually are…

a number of years ago i came upon many sources that agreed in their description of a breakdown event.

this is not the slow global collapse we are all seeing that happens slowly over a long period of time in stages.

no, this event is different. i don’t know exactly what it will be, and i definitley do not know when.

all i know is that this event will be so catastophic and so life altering for everyone on this planet, that the suceeding events will be nothing short of a cascading global breakdown.

the loss of life will be great. but that is not the real tragedy.

because of what i know, according to divine justice the sin of a human being must be atoned for by the blood of Jesus’ cross, otherwise they have no covering of sin before the Father after they die.

there is also the matter of whether or not the soul repented (ongoing repentance) from sin, whether or not the soul served God to an acceptable extent according to Him, and whether or not the soul developed a relationship with God.

“not everyone who says to me, Lord Lord, shall enter, but he who does the will of my Father shall enter”

“if you love me, obey my commandments”

“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

    ….

unfortunately because God has standards He imposes as a result of His requirements, His nature, and His justice, the sad truth is that most souls do not go to heaven, but fall into eternal perdition.

when this key event occurs, there will be a large influx of souls into eternity, much more than the ebb and flow of the normal death rates on this planet at various degrees of peace and war.

sadly, of this large influx of souls at these future times, there will be a large flow of souls into eternal damnation, and only a small flow of souls into eternal rest.

“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”

MEN OF MGTOW!!! I CALL TO YOU AT THE TOP OF MY VOICE FOR THE SAKE OF THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT

ENTER AT THE NARROW GATE! LEAVE BEHIND THE SIN AND VAIN VISIONS FOR PERSONAL EMPIRES THAT WILL ONLY CRUMBLE INTO DUST!

for all of us will stand before the Maker of the Worlds, and the decision He makes in regard to all of us will be final.

who cares whether other men approve of you or not? What is more valuable than eternal life and a future of bliss that never ends?

Fornication with women? Hoarding of money? a life of self gain?

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY ALL THE CLAIMS OF MGTOW MEN AS TO WHAT MATTERS AND WHAT DOES NOT.

God has already begun judging the world. we all see what is happening to the environment, the governments, the economies,

    CRUMBLING IN SLOW MOTION!

    +++

34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.

36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Doomsday cults are bullsh*t. Get out of the one you’re in.

According to NASA, the world is greening.
    Polar icecaps are not melting.
Nothing catastrophically wrong with the environment.

    I have a lil story.

I’m very familiar with an individual that has been “studying” the biblical end of times for the better part of 20 years.

They spend many hours on the computer as well as getting periodicals delivered to their door step to provide even more information on the topic.

I asked ONCE a few years back, and t that time they were all worked up about the “blood moons”.

Yeah, well they came and went…….CRICKETS

I find it quite Amazing that this individual seamlessly moves from one FAILED prophesized account of either something catastrophic and/or the end of the world to another FAILED account.

THIS IS THEIR LIFE from day to day and month to month as the years go by.

Jesus said the world would end in the lifetimes of his disciples. They kept on looking and looking. Maybe it would happen when Rome converted to Christianity? Maybe it would happen when Jerusalem was restored to the Christians? Perhaps the message of the gospel had to be heard in all the corners of the earth before it could happen? So far, nearly 2 millennia later, no joy.

Someday the world will, trumpets will sound and all those still here will no doubt know what is happening. As far as an event, we have had many life and world altering throughout history that some people believed the end was at hand. The Black Plague in Europe killed so many people that many thought the end of the world was near. There will be something similar that kills Billions, with the rise of STDs, mutating diseases it is just a matter of when.

Let’s see, the Universe is estimated to be 13.7 BILLION years old….and it can’t be completely measured, but for an easy comparison sake; it’s safe to say that the earth when compared to the universe is like comparing the earth to an object smaller than a grain of sand.

So, About 2000 years ago the “creator” of this ever expanding universe inspired a Copper Age group of humans to write a book/bible that said mankind will have a catastrophic event on certain date(s), but of course didn’t name the said dates, but provided clues/prophecies that may or may not happen according to other clues/prophecies….I will have to THINK on this one for awhile………

The constant supplication required by the desert religions is a turn off. How can you be sure your always up to date with your repentance? It’s too much blue pilled, I’m sorry I use oxygen, self hating bulls~~~.

I recently watch a video about the JWs and all of their failed ‘doomsday’ prophecies. After each day came and went, they just kept pushing the date back a few years.

One of my biggest beefs about Theism is that it tends to cause so much unnecessary fear and anxiety. It just fu.cks up people’s thinking and emotions. Reality is unsettling enough FFS…

A few weeks ago I stumbled with a video about Atlantis:

My reaction to this was relief…

I wondered what I we relieved about, and I realized that it was the idea of a planet that periodically cleans up the human mess.

I’m reminded of the 2009 movie ‘2012’. I knew a couple of bible thumpers back then who were certain that “2012” was going to happen! They really believed that it was coming.

It upsets me that there are still so many people in this world that are actually this stupid…

If I imagine that I just died yesterday, and I’m having a discussion with God today about the life I just had, this is about how I imagine that it would go:

God: How did you choose what you believed about me?

Me: I looked around at a bunch of different religions going to war with each other over which one was your favorite, and decided that I’d rather take my chances forming my own religion, and figuring out for myself what you preferred me to do.

God: And what did you come up with?

Me: Believe in God, don’t hurt anyone, and try to help people out whenever I could. I didn’t get much more specific than that.

God: How do you think you did with that?

Me: I tried to do the best I could with what I had to work with. I was a less than perfect performer in a less than perfect world.

God: I noticed that you didn’t try to recruit a lot of other people to believe the way you believed. Why not?

Me: Most of the people who did that got nailed to a cross, burned at the stake, or fed to lions. I had my hands full practicing my own beliefs.

God: I noticed that you didn’t leave any descendants behind. You did not ‘go forth and multiply…’

Me: Umm, have you seen what I had to work with on that?

God: Yeah, ‘sorry about that… Maybe that’s why I had only one son and no grandkids…(?)

Me: No problem. I’ve not been ungrateful for the gifts I got, and I’m not complaining about the ones I didn’t get. Aside from gratitude, I tried not to waste any of the time, brains or abilities I that had. What you saw was the best I could do with what I had to work with…

Now, I try to live in such a way as to make this conversation possible regardless of when I die, when the world dies, and how many other people happen to die at the same time as me. Since there’s not going to be anyone else involved in this conversation between me and God (No defense lawyers at the gate) about what I believed or how I lived it, I don’t really see that what I believed or how I lived it is the business of anyone else but me and God. You got your conversation to plan for, I got mine. You want to join a religion of millions of other people? Fine w me. You want to figure it out for yourself? Also fine w me.

You want to manipulate me with fear, shame, guilt, predictions of fire and brimstone etc into believing what you believe? Then I got some questions about your agenda.

Me and God are both going to ask you why you didn’t stay in your own lane, mind your own business, and focus on your own conversation…

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

According to NASA, the world is greening.Polar icecaps are not melting.Nothing catastrophically wrong with the environment.

They aren’t bulls~~~ if you found them or are high up enough in the pyramid. Joseph Smith started Mormonism, and that was quite lucrative for him! Well, until the mob outside the Carthage jail killed him.

Hell, you don’t even need to found a cult. Just some heretical prosperity gospel and satellite broadcasting will make you rich and famous. Joel Osteen, anyone? My favorites will always be Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggart, though.

You’re just jealous you’re not a charismatic cult leader.

My belief is God will raise up all the rationalists and freethinkers (non-believers). Believers in everything else are going to the Lake of Fire. This will be the reward for using the rational mind you were born with.

Asceticmonk: Doomsday cults are pointless unless you are going to monetize it.

Puffin Stuff writes: The constant supplication required by the desert religions is a turn off.

Maybe to you, but to the High Priests receiving power, respect, gold and often poon, it’s very much a turn ON!

Think about it. Why would all-powerful God need your money? What’s he going to do with it?

Q: What is the #1 determiner of which religion you follow?

    A: Where you were born/your parent’s religion.

The question of when the world will end is very much anthropomorphic; the Universe will go on when we are dead and gone. Just as it existed before mankind — anatomically modern man is 200,000 years old — the Universe is 14 billion year old, or about 70,000 times older (elaborating on Awakened’s post).

Naw. The collapse is a gradual process, not a single event.

How do we know it’s a gradual process? Look around you. It’s already happening. Gradually.

i’m talking about their teachings/predictions and you know it. OP is talking nonsense. You’re talking about running a con job. All the best to you in that regard. Let me know if your teachings and predictions are any less bulsh*t. ha ha ha

I was, of course, implying that many religions were begun as con jobs. You can often find that out, just by asking whether they provide financial disclosure: how much money came in, and how it was spent. Typically, the less financial transparency, the bigger/greater the con.

As for my teachings, it is a very lax faith, you can do whatever you want as long as you don’t lie to ME, cheat ME, or steal from ME, and pay your tithing on time of course. It is also a bargain, because you don’t have to go to any weekly ‘services’, and I provide salvation for only a 5% tithing, 50% off many denomination’s rates.

The religion with the green pool of water everyone is supplicating to, posted by Autolite, looks like it might be fun. What is it called? I did like that video.

Another favorite cult leader of mine is L. ‘Con’ Hubbard, who went from writing science fiction, to founding the Scientology cult.

And how can you PROVE God doesn’t do His work through con men? Hahahaha

One reason I liked the 80’s televangelists so much is how they hated each other and were all about the power and money. Take Jimmy Swaggart. He outed Mark Gorman, another Assemblies of God minister, for adultery (touchy-feely with someone he was providing counseling for), because Gorman was perceived as a long-term potential threat/competitote. Then, a couple years later, Gorman set up a sting operation to catch Swaggart with a prostitute. His ‘I have sinned against you my Lord’ video, is more fake than most politicians! It is great to watch if you’ve never seen it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baByhJ9iS0g . There were also a lot of under-reported consequences, such as the collapse of the mascara industry when his wife Tammy Faye went down with the ship. She re-married of course. A few years later, he got back into the business (a.k.a. ‘ministry’), albeit on a much smaller scale.

OP, it would be much much better if you provided some data, historical or otherwise, to backup your claim. You didn’t even bother to give reference to your bible quotes. As for your flavor of Christianity, I’m not a big fan. You briefly mentioned the forgiveness aspect of Christ, and then hit hard with acts, as if performing acts in the name of God was a big factor in receiving his grace over simply seeking forgiveness. Again, not a fan.

As for when the world collapses, you should clarify whether you mean the coming of Christ or collapse of current civilization(s). The two are not necessarily the same thing, as civilizations have collapsed before without Christ coming. The Bible says we will not see the coming of Christ in advanced, so making predictions of whether it will slow coming or sudden seems kind of irrelevant. Civilizations end in many ways. Sometimes a slow gradual decline. Sometimes it’s a decline that ends with a single event that acts a catalyst for the end. It’s hard to really say a single event can end a civilization by itself as there will always be circumstances that lead up to the event and make it possible. It would have to be more of a natural disaster than man made event. I would say that modern nuclear capabilities and dependence on infrastructure means that a single event can be much more devastating then it could have been in years past.

    Ok. Then do it.
