A big problem people face is consumerism.

MGTOW men can get by on very little. Minimalism will get you by in any economy. I’ve noticed that most of the people crying over any tax reform are those living lives they can’t afford.

I also notice that the men who cry about it are manginas that try to live like they make 500k a year when they only make about 50 in order to please their women.

Life isn’t a competition, if you manage to make it to the top 1-5% then good on you, I hope you can use the resources to help your family if you have any and make the best possible life for yourself.

If you’re making 25-50k, then you can also do pretty well for yourself. Don’t get caught up in the credit trap or what others might appear to have. The truth is, people trying to live above their means are living an unsustainable life and take home less than you per month.

Be good with what you have, if you are non married with no children, never let people shame you. With proper budgeting, you can still travel, help family and do many things that people wouldn’t think possible.

You don’t need the mcmansion, 2 car garage if you can’t truly afford it. It doesn’t equate happiness and that’s all that really matters.

Limiting stress, staying humble, not falling prey to consumerism and the pit that it can lead many down will be on my mind during the new year.

I wish you all the best and always remember, if you have food, shelter and the ability to save at least a grand a month you’re doing better than most. Appearances are very deceiving, envy gets us nowhere.

Agree. Men don’t need 23 pillows on their bed. A tuna with a blue pill simp to buy them does.

Why vote for a lesser evil? #ICETHEMOUT

There have been nights I’ve missed my last train home and have slept in grand central with a bookbag or rock as my pillow.

Also seeing my father in his old age and learning from guys like stealthy, MGTOW Knight, phoenix, May 7th, Jack Harper, etc has really changed my philosophy for the better.

I’m still going to work hard but for totally different reasons and I’m already more efficient as a result.

I am doing better than most, and can attest to the fact that it is hard to ever fully recover from the consumerism trap… and a grand a month is a huge savings for many. I struggle to save $100 per month at this point and am extremely happy when I can do so.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

    Gerald,

Keep at it, we have to start somewhere and many of you guys have variables like child support, alimony that makes it so much harder.

Keep staying out of the red, good work.

I’m surrounded by vacant lots and collapsing structures, the Jones’s abandoned decades ago! Now there’s only me and one neighbor, the rest is dense forest as far as the eye can see. Necrosis is on a march to consume the defunct States of America (rust belt).

This thread should be moved to Money.

I like where you are going with this. What I suggest is look what the Basic Bitches are buying to keep up with the Joneses. Invest in it. Have them Bitches pay you instead of them continuing to mooch off of you in all the ways society tries to trick you into and forces you to pay for them.

The Joneses can be your best friends. Basic Bitches always want what the Joneses have and will lie, cheat, and steal to get it. Might as well profit.

Don't stick your dick into anyone you aren't willing to put up with for eighteen years and nine months.

I thought about putting it in money.

I’m thinking about safe investments but nothing is ever a sure bet.

Was thinking about getting into rental units but saw the posts about getting stiffed, damages and things of that nature.

Maybe one day one of us will get into MGTOW only units and work around discrimination charges.

Absolutely, needs vs wants is a crucial dichotomy.

Since going MGTOW I realize I don’t need much. People are asking me “what do you want for Christmas?” And I’m honestly saying “nothing”

    Consumer goods are;

S~~~ people don’t need they buy with money they don’t have to impress people they don’t like.

I heard that years ago and think it is so often very true.

Material consumerism disgusts me even tho I am guilty of it at a certain level. But I always try and make do without.

S~~~ people buy just becomes the same as the s~~~ they are bored of.

P.S – Good to see you back about these parts chase.

I’m a materialistic f~~~, and I take pride in it.

But, I live within my means. I’ll never finance anything! If I can’t pay cash for it, than I can’t afford it.

I’ve heard stories of people financing Bentley’s, and yet, they live in basements.

Mostly guys, why? Because they want to impress bitches, and ultimately, to get a piece of ass.

You see, women don’t care about real wealth. They don’t care if you owned a business that generate a million dollar a month. They have to see PROOF. They have to see you in a high end sports car!

If you own that million dollar business, yet you drive a beat up pick up truck, they won’t even notice you. But, the broke basement dwelling bastard, who financed the Bentley, will be drowning in pussy.

I like pussy, but f~~~ that.

I love cars, but I’ll be buying them with cash, and work on them as a hobby. If a bitch dig my ride, and wants to give me some ass, I’ll take it.

Never finance anything! Because you don’t know the future. You might be healthy and employed today, and tomorrow you’re sick with no job.

    Cash is King

    Credit is debt.

The borrower is a slave to the lender!

    Doc,

We’re all guilty at times. Just noticed I haven’t been in a mall or retail store in 2 years and the last time it was gifts for others.

Not getting run over or rushing about this time of year is a refreshing feeling. It’s like finally reaching recovery after a long addiction.

I appreciate it, Doc just been lurking. It’s wise to just sit back and learn from others sometimes.

“what do you want for Christmas?”

I just got off the phone with a friend. We were discussing the bulls~~~ hyper run around and stress of Christmas. He totally agrees with my pulling the plug on Christmas and spending it the f~~~ ALONE!

    No shopping, check!

Checking your no shopping list twice is not necessary, no crowds, no stress, no problem.

No Christmas lights, no tree, check!

I met a guy (a fireman) that had his home burn down TWICE! both times due to Christmas trees!

Christmas music? No shopping, no radio, no TV, no Christmas music, check!

Stupid motherf~~~ers bounce around every year, stressing themselves on consumerism day!

A thank-you to god for his only begotten son is all I really need. The rest is PAGAN!

    Balaam,

Those chicks must be in for a shock when they see the basement.

I doubt those guys are getting any tail then, unless they keep them in the Bentley.

Some women are so fickle, the few good ones will be good with you walking when they know you hold everything else down.
