Anyone following the UK Snap Elections? Looks like PM May’s gambit to expand the Conservative lead in the H of C totally backfired. It looks like the Parliament is going to be deadlocked again and therefore Brexit may be stalled indefinitely.
I submit she did this on purpose b/c she’s really a closet globalist. This was by design. She had a really nasty puss on the entire time during Trump’s NATO speech.
I smell George Soros and his patented voting machines behind this as well. Like with the US elections, I don’t doubt for a minute there was some frigging in the rigging over there, either.
Prayers for the UK go up tonight. May the Lord save you from the “refugee” blight!

Having just woken up to this result i am disapointed but not suprised. I never thought of that angle CNM but you’re right it could have been by design by May.
Not turning up to televised debates may have been part of a ploy to come across as arrogant.
She is a globalist at heart and was on team remain before the brexit vote, which never made sense why a reaminer was made prime minister (Soros anyone??!).
This is what happens when you give self entitled non contributing morons the right to vote.
This country has gone from being able to acheive something special with brexit to completely f~~~ing itself in one fowl swoop.
The only answer i think for many single men is to get a plan to eventually leave and live somewhere else. Sure it will take money but it’s the only smart move in my opinion.
Theresa May had it all going for her until she dodged the debates and proposed the “Dementia Tax”, fox hunting, internet censorship etc. This catastrophic failure for the Tories is entirely her fault and I hope she resigns.
It’s probably for the best though, seeing as a good chunk of Tory voters were probably just trying to stop Labour from spending too much, taking in too many migrants, and scuppering Brexit. People were hoping she could negotiate Brexit, but that illusion was shattered tonight. All bark and no bite.
There’s absolutely no way she can stay after this. She’s an absolute goner. If she’s selfish enough to stay and demand she lead Brexit (of which there is a reasonable probability), the entire Tory party will be essentially on the ropes and Labour will be in a prime position to regroup and steal the next one.
The left-wing youth – who are hugely responsible for Labour’s success – are coming out and voting, and the current Tory government can’t adapt fast enough. Playing “lesser of two evils” will no longer work. They need to scrap May and find a new PM.
I was just about to put the exact same thread up…yeah this is a stitch up to stop Brexit. That hag May was a Remainer and she has basically sabotaged this election so now we are f~~~ed
the promise of “free” things to the young got them out voting for a politican who supported the IRA while they were killing Brits so that says it all
it is checkout time because Europe as a whole is now finished. I wonder how those kids will enjoy living in an Islamic state

Putin is actually a successful statesman.

Did it on purpose.

Anonymous25I think there are many of the electorate here in the UK that are furious about this. I’m furious.
May should never have been chosen to lead the Conservatives.
Farrage has already stated that he will re-enter politics if Brexit is put at risk. The establishment are playing dirty tricks with the will of the people.
This will not end well for those in power if they keep trying to ignore the will of the people. Whilst the British are quite reserved and well behaved, they are also quick to anger when democracy is abused.
The Conservatives have about 42% of the votes, but because of how the system is set up, they didn’t manage to secure a majority of seats.
This nonsense is an abuse of process to override the will of the people on Brexit.
Help me understand, as an American what the political culture is like over there.
Is it (like here) that the producers/hard workers are fed up with the hand-outs and disgusted with the establishment political parties and the corruption?
Obviously the young are idealistic and their eyes haven’t opened and they are voting for hand-outs and open borders – but are their voting numbers enough to make the difference??
Please offer a primer on UK politics.
Breitbart could have called this right….maybe a straw job but could be a blessing
I believe the globalists are beyond blind to try this. The majority of the British people voted to leave.
In response the British government bring in more terrorist invaders, they are silent on the crimes the invaders commit on the British people but the British government arrests and punishes the British victims of terrorism.
The British government is a colonial government controlled by globalist.
The snap elections that openly defy the will of the British people.
Any referendum is held with there being different results will be declared a fraud by the British people whom wanted Brexit.
Here is the rub, it is likely many rank and file in the British government see this, especially the British military. This is why the British kept their currency. There is a lot of political undercurrent here that is unknown.
It is more than likely as this psychotic agenda is mean to drive the British people to radicalize as justification for the globalist to commit genocide on the British people on the grounds the British people are savages.
But, at the end of the day that maybe a blessing in disguise. It is clear from what is happening in the U.S. the globalists grossly underestimate the rage of the common people. And by censoring and abusing the British people they may get a backlash which will expel the globalists and other invaders in Britain.
It depends on how many of the countryfolk of UK hid their weapons and how many of the British military will side with the British people.
Also, there is the U.S. and President Trump, the master negotiator who literally wrote the book on art of the deal. The quislings in UK government have backed themselves into a corner.
At the moment, the only foreign economic friend the UK has is the U.S.
Even if the UK government caves they will face having penalties by the European Union. The European Union will turn the UK into the next economic collapsed Greece to make them an example for any other nation whose population wishes to leave the EU.
But, if the UK government caves, President Trump will declare the UK government is going against the will of the British people and President Trump will declare tariffs in response to this capitulation of the UK government.
Then, the UK government will be hurt by all their export companies driving the economy into the gutter and forcing another election.
If the globalists rig the vote further there may be more than collapse but an open revolt by the people, or even a military coup.
I believe many of the UK government and military realize if the EU government and other globalists gets their way those in the UK government and military will lose their benefits and pensions.
The fact of the matter the UK politicians want to go back to the EU gravy train of screwing over the British people and the rest of the common populations of Europe to enrich their own wealth. The problem is they cannot go back to the way it was. The UK population has spoken. And even if the EU globalists promise if the UK government stops Brexit things will go back to the way they were, these are lies.
If given the chance, the EU globalists will grind the UK into the ground to make example of them. This includes making examples of the UK government for allowing Brexit to happen in the first place.

Anonymous14Dude, I knew this s~~~ was going to go down like this about a year ago. I knew no way were they going to get it done and that a thousand monkeys were going to be throwing wrenches into it. Like Batman says, it is all theatre.
I saw her on the news earlier and this result was definatly unexpected. She thought she had it in the bag.
Everything was going well until she started talking about censoring the internet. She should have stuck to selling the Brexit which was her strong point and i think the outcome would have been different.

The thing about throwing wrenches eventually the gears will shut down completely. By trying to stop Brexit the EU and their allies may collapse the EU.

In boxing this called “taking a dive”.

I agree that she never wanted Brexit. In fact I was surprised when she played along with it. Labour is a leftist disaster that never recovered from Tony Blair – a lot of them still hold to his views. Good breeding grounds for hardcore socialsts. This is far from over.
I haven’t really been following this close enough to know what’s really going on. Why call an early election when she already had a majority government?
It’s a huge political gamble especially when it’s common knowledge that early elections rarely work in favour for a sitting government. I always thought that a snap election was considered a ‘hail Mary play’ for a failing government that had nothing to lose…
Pretty good explanation of what just happened in the UK. Theresa May’s days as PM seem to be numbered."Don't follow in my footsteps...I stepped in something."
Why call an early election when she already had a majority government?
Because it was only just a majority. She reasoned that the timing was perfect because Jeremy Corbyn has always been perceived as a ridiculous leader, and the Labour party were also in a bad state. She thought she’d wipe the floor with Labour and take seats from them. If this had gone as planned, she’d have had a much bigger majority, and this would have strengthened her hand to deliver a complete divorce from the EU, aka hard Brexit (i.e. stop mass immigration, exit the single market, etc). Now it looks as if a soft Brexit is more likely (i.e. stay in single market, and carry on with mass immigration).
It’s mostly Corbyn’s promise to give everybody free money and the power of social media that motivated the youth to register and vote… which is what appears to have indeed happened.

I believe personally that May absolutely f~~~ed it from the word go. Her arrogance and uncertainty, coupled with her original Remain stance already set her on the back foot.
Corbyn was smeared by the Nazi-esque media propaganda machine, the entire approach of the Tory party for the campaign was “insult Corbyn” and “personally attack Abbott” at the expense of actually campaigning and promoting their manifesto.
To be fair, I read their manifesto. It was s~~~. The Labour manifesto was solid – beside the financial over-reach – it promised the world to the voters and although it wasn’t believable for the most part, the slither of hope helped sway voters. The biggest flaws in the Tory stance were:
- The last 7 years of devastating Austerity. Literally decimating the public sector including rampant privitisation of the National Health Service, stripping away funding for Police that resulted in 10,000 less officers, reducing funding for Fire Services that resulted in the worst response times in 20 years and a 17% increase in fatalities caused by fires in 2015/2016, and no denial from Amber Rudd that there was more of the same in their future plans.
- The Snoopers Charter which aimed to revoke all rights to digital privacy. Legitimately, ALL privacy.
- The sales of arms to Saudi Arabia that were then used to kill UK troops in the Middle East.
- The intent to scrap the European Convention of Human Rights… like seriously, how was that ever going to stand in their favour? It was a UK devised act from post WW2 to protect the rights of all citizens!
- The fact immigration during Tory’s watch was the worst it’s ever been despite their claims to the contrary – 2015 saw 330,000 arrivals – the highest year on record!
- Coupling the immigration stats with the recent terrorist activity, and the fact they’ve systemically reduced police funding so they are unable to protect us from domestic terrorism leaves a feeling that they don’t care much for the security of the citizens.
- The Dementia Tax and the abuses of disabled people for which they’re being investigated by the United Nations.
- The continued reduction of Corporation Tax and Capital Gains Tax. Our CT is currently at 19%, the lowest of the G7, and Tories intended to get it down to 10%! Meanwhile the majority of the country are in backbreaking austerity.
- Targeting education for cuts, including free lunch meals for children of low income families.
- Since the 2008 global recession, the UK have had the slowest wage growth in the EU aside from Greece who have had a catastrophic financial meltdown. In the same period, the richest have doubled their wealth whilst the working class have been crushed under austerity.
- The electoral fraud for which they were fined £70,000 (the maximum possible).
I could go on, but I think my point is made.
The Tory party are criminal and corrupt as f~~~. All Corbyn needed to do was say “I stand for the opposite of the Tories” and the votes would begin flooding in.
The weakness of Labour was their soft-Brexit plan to consider compromising on the free movement of people (immigration) for the perceived economic benefit of remaining in the EU Single Market. That did not sit well with Brexiters (52% of the voters) who want a clean break from the Bloc.
Just my opinion from the extensive discussions I’ve had on this over the last few weeks.
No-one's yet explained to me exactly what's so great // About slaving fifty years away on something that you hate // About meekly shuffling down the path of mediocrity // Well if that's your road then take it, but it's not the road for me.
Because it was only just a majority.
Okay, I think I understand now. I guess a “majority” government means something a little different in England than it does over here in Canada…
