Damn did Mickey just get arrested ? The correctional facility’s must be short on their quotas again. What a hellish place western culture has become. The lawmakers and courts have turned this place into a f~~~-nut insane asylum.

Act friendly and respectful but not give them any information until you’re clear what their intentions are.

Why are you asking us what to do? The police come, you comply. They say they have a warrant, you comply. This is common sense stuff. Go with them, and sort it out. You don’t need added charges of resisting arrest. You’re already in trouble with the warrant. Your first response to dealing with the police should not be coming on here to post about it. It should be calling a lawyer and complying with the cops.

What’s this about? Some DV accusation or something?

( pulse pounding to read this )

I’m not even there…. and I feel for Mickey.
Please give us a word back when you can.

( someone please message OR even use the SMS Text feature on the right and include a short note when there is a word back from Mickey so I can revisit this ASAP. Thank you. )

Yes, when addressing police, a simple “yes sir” or “no sir” makes a difference.

Spoke about that recently here when I got pulled over (for nothing really) a couple of weeks ago. He barked at first, but then took a less “marital” tone when I advanced him the extra level of courtesy.

I can’t wait to read Mickey’s next post. It should be very interesting.

Holy Crap! Comply in all ways. There is nothing else to do.

For those of us reading this and feel the pulse pounding. This is why you should have an attorney to call if this ever happens. Be prepared for this to happen. Have some funding aside to take care of it. Even if you haven’t done anything wrong, you should be prepared.

    Prayers up, Mickey!

I know that pain of missing kids and an ex that will use kids like a club and the law as an enforcer .

    Good luck mickey

If you don’t have BODYCAM, DASHCAM, and CCTV, then it doesn’t matter, you’re at their disposal, if they don’t like you, you’re F~~~ED!

When the cops came for me it was clear to them that I had payed attention in my required cultural sensitivity classes at work.

Once they realized this they took my arms from behind my back and interviewed my ex-girlfriend away from me. She told them that nothing happened, thank god.

So, I asked the cop how I did in handling the situation.

He told me that I should not have taken her phone. He’s right. I shouldn’t have taken her ability to further call the authorities on me.

I never said anything to incriminate myself. We had been drinking, to calm her down, and, despite the open bottle of scotch on the table, I denied alcohol having any association with this.

They looked the other way because my ex looked like she was mentally ill. I think I might have told them that.

tell the police you will comply with all orders, speak softly, low calm voice. do not consent to searches verbally. do not interfere in any way. keep your mouth shut. respectfully request a lawyer. read everything slowly and carefully. admit nothing. Ask if you are free to go.

Police will lie cheat and steal to get a confession.

Hahahaha! It’s not an offence to lip off cops here…technically. But, I’m guessing lots of unscheduled dental work by the pavement has been accomplished by people who asserted these rights.

    The answer, is no.
