OP – Wishful thinking. Something that the MRA is engaged in. The truth is is that even if it were possible it would never occur within our lifetimes. Instead of railing about it; I suggest to just go full MGTOW and work on your own happiness and health and financial well being. Let women go screw themselves. But while we may not have enough in the way of numbers to change laws; we can reach out to our male friends and coworkers and talk about these things and going MGTOW, and perhaps be able to change a few lives for the better.

Its difficult to support the MRA establishment until they start preaching prevention. The day they do is the day I will fly my MRA flag for the world to see. Here’s an idea: one parent lives in the house until the kids turn 18 and receives child support payments. After that, the other parent lives in the house and receives half of the child support payments during those years. In my world, BOTH parents have to get a job and pay half of the amount of child support. Then the property can be shared or sold with the profit split 50/50. No lifetime alimony either. Just a lump sum payment to a spouse.

Action has been taken. The Florida legislature just almost passed sweeping legislation that would eliminate life time alimony and make 50/50 physical custody as the default unless compelling evidence proves potential child abuse.

There were numerous men’s rights activists for the bill but too many, including NOW, pressured the state senate crashed.

It is a men’s rights win because it is getting the message out to the general public.

Fathers matter and destoying that bond is child abuse.

This is why MGTOW is different from the MRAs who will negotiate AFTER the fact about “better laws for men” and trying to un-skew the unfair anti-male bias in the divorce and anti-family court system. But as a MGTOW, you own that s~~~ and got the f~~~ed-up system by the b~~~~.

I could have easily been married 5 times if I wanted to and if I had pursued it. Instead, I figuratively bent over a few divorce attorneys, and f~~~ed them instead – just by stopping a few weddings, and saving a few men’s lives along the way.

I agree with keymaster. Think about the law, think about who makes the law. We have corrupt, dishonest, lawmakers making new laws or enforcing old laws created by corrupt, dishonest, lawmakers. From the example Keymaster showed, we rarely make laws for things that are right. In this case, I will do what is right for me and opt out of marriage. That also means no kids, and no expensive dates as well.

If it costs you your peace of mind, then it is too expensive.

This is always an interesting debate and I do understand your viewpoint. It matches what my friends think.

My point on this debate is that you are in the wrong time frame and also in the wrong grouping simultaneously.
1. Timeframe = most Laws apply after you enter the woman’s arena. This is where you are debating.
2. Grouping = the collective. This is where you are debating.

I am not in the place at the same time as you. But, yes it does suck to see a brother flame out.

Since the beginning of time, Adam had no chance. What should make any of us think we will fare better? The natural laws will always be against a man dealing with a woman.

As a man we are not collective. We are individuals with free will. It has never ever been in our interest to provide, protect or procreate. No matter what laws they make, some men will still go into the flames of hell.

Now, if you could repeal the 19th amendment that allows women to vote, then I’m in. Until then, discussion about revision to laws is pointless.
