It might be. However, you can defeat the manipulation by calling it out (as you’ve done) or by not getting angry…when we are also doing. Personally, I find it truly spectacular when women pit two men against each other and then instead treat each other with courteous respect.

I believe it was CS Lewis who had the same view on heaven. He saw it as less about people denied entrance into Heaven as it was about people choosing not to enter, as it meant admitting that He is God and you’re not. An interesting perspective, to me anyway.

I’m quite an easy going person and have a thick skin in the sense that being called a c~~~ or some guys ex-wife etc over the internet doesn’t make me go berserk or anything.
