Yea, I’d qualify this as fake news, even though I think it mostly tells the truth. The implication is that Trump supporters are white nationalists, and that they’re opinions aren’t based on reality, just their sociological conditions.

That simply isn’t true.

I don’t have the stats in front of me, but mu understanding is that a significant number of women and non-whites voted for Trump, more then had voted for Republicans in past elections. And although white nationalists supported Trump, it’s a far stretch to claim that all white voters for Trump had racist motivations. So the implication is just ludicrous.

The article covers a broad range of topics, but there were some that are worth pointing out. Why do men associate with hate groups? It’s not a secret at all. Men need a place where they can be themselves and associate with other men. They need male guidance. This is why boys join gangs. That’s how terrorist groups form. That’s how Hitler succeeded. It gives the boys the sense of worth they crave as well as a face to blame all that is wrong. The truth of the matter becomes irrelevant since their needs are met and they can rarely blame the actual root of the problem.

This is why I think it’s very important for MGTOW to avoid hate as much as possible. It can make your life a lot more comfortable, gives a face to your pain, but cannot bring peace to your life or result in any positive change for you and those we care about.

The other part that was interesting was the question about divorce and alimony. The article states that 80% of divorce end with both parties getting the custody they wanted. That’s very deceiving as men generally didn’t want the divorce in the first place. They are preconditioned to expect the worse and are relatively satisfied with what they got, knowing what they really want is not possible. Technically, I got the custody I wanted, but that doesn’t tell the story at all, since I never wanted the divorce and resent that I must child support, two things I did not see as something I could legitimately fight against.

So I do think the article is a good read, but with anything you read, you most likely must reject the implication and focus on what isn’t said as much as what is said.

As for my opinion on the article, I think it is obviously very skewed and lacks a lot of evidence for some of the statements and claims it makes.

Personally, I think if you want more constructive/educational conversation/debate, I suggest maybe you should choose “different” types of articles from reputable sites and authors unless you’re posting it to poke holes in it. And, even then there is just so much CRAP that we’re bombarded with on a daily basis that it doesn’t really help to bring it on HERE, and expect anything else than what you got. Just a thought…
