So, after publicly announcing that women are STILL being held back (?!?!?) she goes ahead and releases this video:

This video clip (and all the rest of that nature) is definitely wishful thinking, but may brainwash some of the young females into believing they could actually rival with men physically. I’ve seen it times and times again, some women definitely believe they are:

1) capable of physically holding their ground against men (2xlol).

2) untouchable (this is getting worse by the minute). They get in your face and may even assault you because they feel completely protected by the “you SHOULD NEVER hit a woman” argument.

While watching the clip I have thought of Freud’s “Penis Envy” theory and I definitely start believing he was right. These pathetic whores will do everything in their power to prove they are equal or better, but deep inside they are envious and despise their own nature and weakness. Someone should bring the bad news to them, they can not and will never be able to be be men.. no matter how hard they try.

The only thing she’s doing that is provocative is raising a finger to beat the males herself, rather than using other males to do the dirty work for her.

Gender roles are denied by BOTH genders.  Males don’t admit that they sacrifice their own bodies for female bodies, to gain access to reproduction; females don’t admit that males act in order to gain access to reproduction.

Males don’t admit their role, because by admitting it they have to look deep into their soul at a vulnerability we are taught to deny from a young age.  Females don’t admit THEIR role because it means recognizing that all the wonderful attention they get from males has nothing to do with their individual identity as being a magical, wonderful person — it’s just males trying to reproduce.

This video isn’t particularly revolutionary because males are ALWAYS the ones being beaten.   It’s just normally that the direct beatings are performed by males, with females looking on in approval.  Men beat each other to death, and the survivors get to reproduce.  It’s animal, it’s primitive, and it’s how things have been forever.  The only way to escape it is to recognize that the entire dance is about physical reproduction, not anything personal to do with you.

In the reproductive dance, which is basically all there is in physical human reality, men’s job is to take damage/punishment, and sacrifice their bodies.  Women have the reproductive control, and as a result are able to muster both male AND female support and protection, but will ultimately be expected to produce children as a result.

I’m not buying the idea that this video is somehow teaching or encouraging women to act violently against men, or at all.  Here’s why.  My understanding of the gamergate drama was in regard to video games teaching or encouraging men to act violently, yet there is no link between violence and video games.  It’s pretty clear that it’s escapism, and just because you shoot someone in the face with a bazooka in a video games does not mean you’re stupid enough to think shooting someone in the face with a  bazooka in real life is morally ok or without it’s consequences.  I don’t think music videos or gaming are any different.

This is escapism for women.  That’s it.  I am more concerned about more subtle displays in the media of violence or superiority of women over men.  There’s an ad for the show VEEP where the man female character hits a man in the face with a newspaper…and it’s supposed to be funny.  That’s more along the lines of what I think women will see and feel the have the right to do.

The ‘damage’ I see from this video is it’s rather insulting to men who actually have worked hard to be able to achieve those fighting skills.   These women look completely un-athletic and have no clue what they are actually doing.  If anything, it teaches women they can be whatever they want to be simply because they want it, not because they can work to earn it.  Can you imagine if all those ‘badass women’ were actually men with similar physical stature?  It would be utterly ridiculous (as this is past the surface).

In contrast, the trailer for Entourage shows Rhonda Rousey kicking the crap out of some dude.  Completely different situation in that she works her ass off to be as good as she is and looks the part.  Additionally, the dude apparently volunteered to get in the ring with her, on equal terms.    If women really want to promote women doing real work and being a real bad ass, put Rhonda in your violent video, not Ms. Swift.

Ok. Then do it.
