Societal Collapse of Western Culture

Given what’s going on in the western world; massive immigration, demographic crisis, feminization of men, promotion of women and minorities over western men, and overall lack of participation of young men in the work force and education.

All those things considered and more, will western society collapse, and if so how long do you believe it will take. I don’t want guesses, I am seeking logic driven time frames. I project it should occur before 3 more generations, or before 2070. I base this on demographics of contemporary western populations and future projections. Is there any of you that believe they may be able to prevent a collapse? And if so why? Your thoughts, please.

The more important questions are: “How is this my problem? Why should I try to prevent it?”

Prevent, NO, I want to know if I can hold on until it does occur! Or even exacerbate the situation so it occurs more quickly.

I pray for it, my fear is it may never come. I view western societal collapse as a restart button and maybe go back to a more traditionalist society. I don’t know what I will do if it doesn’t happen, it will only get worse and worse.

Well I’m 18 so the collapse is going to happen during my lifetime guaranteed, works for me cause I’ve always had a mercenary outlook on life.

Naw. There will be no reset. We will not climb back out of the coming dark age. All the easy to get oil and ores have already been got.

And it will be traditional, but only in the sense that a 20 year life expectancy is traditional.

Collapse of complex systems is worst than simple systems.

In complex systems there is a tendency to support the failing structures with resources from the healthy structures. Its a feeble attempt to maintain the status quo. But in long term all the system is under stress, when it could simply be purged from what didn’t work…

Then everything cones crashing down at the same time.

And sidecar is right, we have used all the easy and cheap resources. There is no coming back.

The fact that objective observations are freely communicated. Are a testament to the ‘West’ continuing.

We won’t even make it into the bronze again, not in a million years, because all the convenient tin ore is gone.

As a species, we have only one chance to use the limited resources of Earth to bootstrap ourselves into space and the infinite resources it can provide. Once Earth’s resources are used up, that chance is gone, and it won’t recover on anything but a geologic scale, if ever. Humanity won’t last that long trapped on a single, used up world.

And we are p~~~ing away those very limited resources on welfare for irresponsible single mothers instead.

But that is also not my problem.

You forget all the materials and building materials that will be laying around.

Scavenging parts and materials is already a business, this will be the case after a collapse as well.

I might be way off, but my own speculation is that collapse is not far off.

My own theory is that a world wide financial reset is around the corner. WW3 may be upon us as well.

Collapses have happened in the past. Metoo is a parallel to political assassination. Ancient Samaria continually made alliances with surrounding monarchies.

Samarian elites murdered each other for temporary gains. Caesars also fell into this same trap. In 1-3 century Rome, political murders were common.

During the elite Romans murdering and shifting of alliances.

Men who claimed ‘Christ is Lord’. Continued to farm arable land. Mine precious metals out of the earth. Give thanks to God. Provide charity to the infirm. Who also proclaimed ‘Jesus is Lord’.

I think a global financial and societal collapse is already occurring, only gradually.

Most of it is on purpose and controlled.

Of course, there are always glitches and surprises that come up to thwart the plans. (Think Trump, for example)

Unfortunately, I think those making things happen are determined enough, and powerful enough to make it happen, eventually.

It really seems to come down to a few hundred, maybe a thousand people influencing everything behind the scenes.

The only way to prevent it is to convince those people to change their minds or remove those people from power, somehow.

Spoiler: building materials were left laying around after all the previous collapses into dark ages. It didn’t help then either.

Scavenging will only go so far, and only for a few decades, and only for a much smaller population.

And what about the easy to get fuels? Those are all used up now too. I don’t see a lot of recyclable petroleum laying around.
