I was a bit surprised the other day when I noticed that you can view threads and posts on here without signing up. I always assumed you needed to be a member to see anything at all.

I’m not very techie, but would it help with minimizing attacks and so forth if the threads were non view-able to non members?

I’ve been shadowed here by a female acquaintance from nearly the moment I showed up. She knows my attitudes and writing style well enough to have recognized me and called me out on it… and she was reading these forums well before I found them.

You can bet that, for every active participant, there are a dozen lurkers… male and female… watching everything that is said here.

Like with the rest of the internet, you would be wise to not say anything here you would not say out loud in a crowded grocery store, shopping mall or police station.

Shouldn’t MGTOW be closed to outsiders?

The entire purpose is so other men can find us. Practically every second intro starts out by saying “where has MGTOW been all my life?”… and “I’m so glad I found this place” — often after lurking for days and even months.

Check out the last 5 intros and you’ll see what I mean.

Like with the rest of the internet, you would be wise to not say anything here you would not say out loud in a crowded grocery store, shopping mall or police station.

Fortunately, there is NOTHING here you “can’t say” in public.

    Nothing.

    GodDAMN it’s fantastic.

Most people THINK you can’t say whatever you want anytime you want to anyone you want. They are sadly mistaken and need to be corrected.

“OMG!!! YOU SO DID NOT JUST SAY THAT OUT LOUD!!!!”.

( women actually said that kid of stupid s~~~ to people )

    “Uh, yeah I SO did.”

    What’s she gonna do?
    GET MAD???? Ooooooo, scary.

Yep, I’m not saying the whole site should be invisible as such, I am more talking about the threads not being able to be viewed unless you log in.

    If that makes sense?

Everything I say on here I say outside of online spaces. Only difference, is that I sugar coat some of things I say on here if my family asks my views on certain topics.

On here, I’d say s~~~ like:

(me): F~~~ having girlfriends of any kind. I don’t need that s~~~ my life.

Outside of the internet I’d say something like this to sugar coat it to my parents:

(me): I don’t want to focus on women right now. I’m just focusing on my career and gaining my IT certs.

I’d say the same s~~~ to them I’d say on here, but I want to avoid fights and drama. So, I sugar coat it.

A major reason I became a member here was precisely because I was able to read the stories and life lessons of the men here, before I was a member. It helped me understand more, and make up my own mind about what MGTOW actually is, versus what so many ignorant people say it is, and that I wasn’t the only one thinking and experiencing these things in daily life.

Ipso facto, here I am… with peace of mind and courage of conviction.

I’m sure that evolution is not unique among our brothers here.

Whether we be anonymous or named, MGTOW saves.

“We are on strike, we, the men of the mind. We are on strike against self-immolation. We are on strike against the creed of unearned rewards and unrewarded duties. We are on strike against the dogma that the pursuit of one's happiness is evil. We are on strike against the doctrine that life is guilt.”

We’ve thought about it MANY times and still think about it. And May do it! But the reason we still haven’t is because of what @atlas said (above ^^)

The litter box and Top Gun forums are for these people so they don’t join until they are solid. IT WORKS TOO!! Very few members show up clueless, and they often use “manosphere” terms like “NAWALT” and “Ghost” and they already did their homework.

The site is DESIGNED for someone to arrive and run screaming away from it, or hug their computers. There is very little in between.

I dunno… The thought of some SJW or Feminist lurking in here and getting all “triggered” makes it all worth it.

Gives me a warm fuzzy. 🙂

I’m the same way. If I couldn’t view the forums on here, I probably wouldn’t of gone MGTOW in the first place.

I read the forums for about 6 months before joining. It helped me get over most of my red pill rage and it helped me understand the world better before I joined.

And I figured waiting to join while I was still in my initial red pill rage was the better option because I didn’t want to go full rage mode while posting on the forums. I like to have a clear and calm mind when I write about anything.

That’s polarity! We’re the spice of life! Either you have it or you don’t. Either you’re positively charged or negatively charged. There’s no middle ground here, the middle ground is an indecisive waffle of mediocrity and reprobate thinking.

The entire purpose is so other men can find us.

That’s why it should be readable from outside.
    But:

She knows my attitudes and writing style well enough to have recognized me and called me out on it… and she was reading these forums well before I found them.

This means the real-life identity of the users should be protected to all possible means. We all have some women and blue pills and allegedly “happily married” and traditional etc. people in our lives. They will find all of this as unacceptable and politically incorrect and hateful or whatever. I do not give a s~~~ on what people outside of my life think of me, but I have to care for the opinion of people who have some power over me. It includes colleges, boss, authorities, and such. The best if they do not read your posts and know who you are. (Although I have an MGTOW logo on both of my bicycles – without the “MGTOW” word it is not very recognized here, and I can explain if questioned, that I do not hate anyone, just like full nights of sleep etc.)

Although there is free speech, some extreme feminists or whatever might call the authorities for “hate speech”, as there are laws against publishing hateful opinions on any group of society, in some countries. (Yep, feminazis do the hate speech all the time, but that should be their legal problem.)

And given the current rate of hacking attempts on the website, and that we should have registered via an email address, that is possibly linked to our other real-world personality, I suggest to separate the email-address database from the forum code, and to use nicknames for login, if feasible.

    Of course.

I got the sense that making this site private would be an attempt to protect the users from exposing themselves as MGTOW in real life where it could have unfortunate consequences.

I was referring to the fear that something posted here may be seen by an outside unfriendly and have negative impact on an individual IRL.

That’s true of anything said on the internet. We don’t need the site to be private, but if anyone is concerned about being outed or doxed, they might want to leave the internet now.

    Garbage

Would you care to elaborate? Surely you don’t mean to suggest that people with radical viewpoints never get doxed or that there are no non-participant observers monitoring this site, do you?

Or maybe you have an issue with me suggesting that if you’re going to talk the talk, you should walk the walk as well… it’s hard to guess what people mean when they don’t use complete sentences.

I should have said 2/3 garbage really. I would certainly recommend people do not say some of what they say here in a crowded grocery store or a mall. Now, you may have a point about in a Police station, but really, I don’t see anyone here confessing to big crimes too often. SJW’s would gang rape you in real life if you walked around saying some of what is said here without tactfulness and awareness of your surroundings. Now this is not to say that I do not express my feelings in public about many topics here, but lets be real, if one went around saying some of this stuff out loud in many social situations life would be nothing but nasty conflict at every turn. This is just how it is being red pill in a sea of blue pill warriors. In regards to censoring oneself here out of fear, yea, I am not on board with that. This should be a place for men to feel safe and have open discussions that they may not be able to have in everyday life because of PC fascist nonsense and SJW’s.

What I initially quoted from you seemed like an attempt to fear people into censoring themselves in regards to this site, and that makes me wonder about you, as many other things you have said here have made me raise an eyebrow as well.

A GRRREAT point. And that’ why Joe Bauers said …

    Garbage.

    It wasn’t to offend.

We live in a society where SANITY is “radical”.

    • Where #killallmen is an acceptable hashtag.
    • Where women happily tweet “short men should suicide themselves lol“.
    • Where telling a woman “no” means “you must be gay”.
    • Where paternity fraud is legal in all 50 states and Canadian provinces.
    • Where men are forced into unconstitutional forced slavery to financially supporting kids that aren’t theirs – else they go to prison.
    • Where Lorena Bobbitt is held up and applauded as an example of celebrity
Quote: “I just went insane!!! YAAY!!!!!”
    • Where a MAN won “woman of the year” for dressing in drag.
    • SLUTWALKS are a weekend public event with t~~~ and assess hanging out and pink and blue haired freaks streaking topless down the street.

And MGTOW who hold both middle finger up to that s~~~ are “radical”?
Well by those INSANE f~~~ing standards, it would certainly fit.

In this f~~~ed up toilet of a society a “straight pride” parade would be ….. “radical”.

    Bring it on, I say.

    • Staying married would be ….. “radical”.
    • More children from 2-parent households would be ….. “radical”.

They haven’t even BEGUN to see “radical” pushback from men.
And they can pray they never do.

This needs to be said out loud 100 million times right where everyone can see it.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Yes, I would like to see more pushback from men publicly as Keymaster talks about here, and I do say s~~~ I say here in real life often, but surely you cannot say don’t say things here that you wouldn’t say in person around random people, that is what rubbed me the wrong way with Doc’s statement. I guess I was just trying to point out that one should not be feared into not speaking his mind here, that is all.

Oh, and I do walk the walk, so even if my identity were revealed it would not be a big deal to me, hence no fear.
