This is what happens in nations even in the so called evil societies that oppress women and this shows you are safe nowhere with families and marriage.

In the Gulf states if you, a westerner, have a car accident, its your fault. The rationale is that you’re a foreigner, so if you weren’t there then there wouldn’t have been an accident.

Driving there you have to take extra caution as an outsider. Every road junction you will have dish dashed locals driving huge 4x4s, coming at you without looking into oncoming traffic, at a million miles an hour. It was good practice for security driving going on into Iraq, where they would do the same only the roads were all warred up and everyone drives clapped out Corollas. Different world, expect death rates to rocket in Saudi with women driving looking through blinkers with no side vision. Total carnage.

Westerners are high up the food chain in Dubai because of the skill sets they bring into it.

Dubai was a watering hole before the 1990s, to be fair its one of the most advanced cities in the world. At one point 40% of ALL tall cranes in the world were sent there to build their glittering city. Their medical facilities are some of the best, I had dental work done in a clinic without one local on the staff, it was the most hi tech dentists I’ve ever seen. If you work there you don’t pay income tax period.

The dark side is as mentioned their treatment of their own co-religionists from Asia. You’ll drive past road gangs in 45c watering plants on the highway and sweeping up. Many are kept there years on a pittance – low skilled and untouchable. Maids are routinely mistreated too.
