During Pistol Pete’s last “Friday Night Organ offering” post, I made the following comment to a comment left by Market~~~cher on Pistol Pete’s thread:
I would buy you a tuning lever or chromatic tuner if the above would pull PP into Rock and Roll. I actually have several “Rocky Rolly – as he calls it” cassette tapes that he let me borrow decades ago. I know, you are thinking BS, the only Rocks are in his head or Rolling off the chicken wire.
So to keep the Lawyer instincts in PistolPete at bay, I thought I would begin a weekly series offering a variety of Rock&Roll based songs that have MGTOW related themes. Not comparing them to PP’s plaster dropping Organ picks but the below could be considered easier to listen to.
Cheers and I hope that these bring back some fond memories:
The First is is “Ballard of Easy Rider” by the Byrds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8jC1lRZGTU
The river flows, it flows to the sea
Wherever that river goes that’s where I want to be
Flow river flow, let your waters wash down
Take me from this road to some other town
All he wanted was to be free
And that’s the way it turned out to be
Flow river flow, let your waters wash down
Take me from this road to some other town
Flow river flow, past the shady trees
Go river go, go to the sea
Flow to the sea
The river flows, it flows to the sea
Wherever it goes that’s where I want to be
Flow river flow, let your waters wash down
Take me from this road to some other townThe second is “Boys are Back in Town” by Thin Lizzy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQo1HIcSVtg
Guess who just got back today
Them wild-eyed boys that had been away
Haven’t changed that much to say
But man, I still think them cats are crazyThey were askin’ if you were around
How you was, where you could be found
Told ’em you were livin’ downtown
Drivin’ all the old men crazyThe boys are back in town (The boys are back in town)
The boys are back in town (The boys are back in town again)You know that chick that used to dance a lot
Every night she’d be on the floor, shakin’ what she got
When I say she was cool she was red hot
I mean, she was steamin’And that time over at Johnny’s place,
Well, this chick got up and she slapped Johnny’s face
Man, we just fell about the place
If that chick don’t want to know, forget herThe boys are back in town (The boys are back in town)
The boys are back in town (The boys are back in town)The boys are back in town (The boys are back in town)
The boys are back in town (The boys are back in town again)Spread the word around
Guess who’s back in town
Just spread the word aroundFriday night they’ll be dressed to kill
Down at Dino’s Bar ‘n’ Grill
The drink will flow and the blood will spill
And if the boys want to fight, you better let ’emThat jukebox in the corner blastin’ out my favorite song
The nights are getting warmer, it won’t be long
Won’t be long till the summer comes
Now that the boys are here againThe boys are back in town (The boys are back in town)
The boys are back in town (The boys are back in town)
The boys are back in town (The boys are back in town)
Spread the word around
The boys are back in town (The boys are back in town again)The boys are back in town again
Been hangin’ down at Dino’s
The boys are back in town againAnd the third song is “Call Me the Breeze” Lynyrd Skynryd https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9wBpmZn9nA
Call me the breeze
I keep blowin’ down the road
Well now, they call me the breeze
I keep blowin’ down the road
I ain’t got me nobody
I don’t carry me no load
Ain’t no change in the weather
Ain’t no changes in me
Well, there ain’t no change in the weather
Ain’t no changes in me
And I ain’t hidin’ from nobody
Nobody’s hidin’ from me
Oh, that’s the way its supposed to be
Well, I got that green light, baby
I got to keep movin’ on
Well, I got that green light, baby
I got to keep movin’ on
Well, I might go out to California
Might go down to Georgia, I don’t know
Well, I dig you Georgia peaches
Makes me feel right at home
Well now, I dig you Georgia peaches
Makes me feel right at home
But I don’t love me no one woman
So I can’t stay in Georgia long
Well now, they call me the breeze
I keep blowin’ down the road
Well now, they call me the breeze
I keep blowin’ down the road
I ain’t got me nobody
I don’t carry me no load

Just take those old records off the shelf
I’ll sit and listen to ’em by myself
Today’s music ain’t got the same soulI like that old time rock ‘n’ roll
Don’t try to take me to a disco
You’ll never even get me out on the floor
In ten minutes I’ll be late for the door
I like that old time rock ‘n’ roll
OohStill like that old time rock ‘n’ roll
That kind of music just soothes the soul ooh
I reminisce about the days of old
With that old time rock ‘n’ roll
Won’t go to hear them play a tangoI’d rather hear some blues or funky old soul
There’s only one sure way to get me to go
Start playing old time rock ‘n’ roll
Call me a relic, call me what you willSay I’m old-fashioned, say I’m over the hill
Today’s music ain’t got the same soul
I like that old time rock ‘n’ roll
Still like that old time rock ‘n’ rollThat kind of music just soothes the soul
I reminisce about the days of old
With that old time rock ‘n’ roll
Still like that old time rock and rollThat kind of music just soothes the soul
I reminisce about the days of old
With that old time rock ‘n’ roll
With that old time rock ‘n’ roll
With that old time rock ‘n’ roll
Still like that old time rock ‘n’ roll.No-one's yet explained to me exactly what's so great // About slaving fifty years away on something that you hate // About meekly shuffling down the path of mediocrity // Well if that's your road then take it, but it's not the road for me.
"Don't follow in my footsteps...I stepped in something."
Outstanding selection AB!
Wish that I had known of this song while I was in the Military, this would have been my unit’s unofficial company song. I will have to up my game for sure next week.
A great selection as well JoeTech. Many a summer night has gone by listening to Zep, Fog Hat and others.

After the red pill rage kicks in, heres the song MGTOW sings. Hell it may be the theme of my ghosting existance.
The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "save us!"....... and i'll look down and whisper "No."
One of the best FU songs which is ironic since he also sings one of the biggest BP Mangina songs EVER –
She’s always a women to me – *Barf!*
Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!

Rorschach and Tuneout.
One of the best FU songs
These are both great examples, thanks for showing that MGTOW has been on the airwaves for many years. Though I have to admit to being more of a Genesis fan than Billy Joel, but that’s the gift of music … listen to what you like and go your own way.

May I suggest “Land of Confusion” from the 80’s. The video is HORRIFING. Trust me.
Extreme, He-Man Woman Hater.
“No Women Allowed!”
Let me tell you about this love and hate relation
Between a man and a woman
And so none of you all get the wrong interpretation
I can’t live with them
I’m gonna die without themSooner or later
You’ll be a he man woman hater
It’s inevitable
And to become one
You’ve gotta really hate to love them
He man woman haterHe, he man woman hater
You know I love to hate cause I hate to love themHe man’s behavior
Doesn’t need no explanation
We all got a one track mind
He men have always had a sexual preoccupation
It’s gonna be your place or it’s gonna be mineSooner or later
You’ll be a he man woman hater
It’s inevitable
And to become one
You’ve gotta really hate to love them
He man woman haterHe, he man woman hater
You know I love to hate cause I hate to love them
He, he man woman hater

It really is but Reagan is spot on and the last scene is too choice.
Hey MW, I plan to stick to Tuesday night and yes, I had already identified LOC from aother MGTOW political thread which actually started me thinking about this thread. Superman where are you now … but since you mentioned it … Genesis: Land of Confusion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHmH1xQ2Pf4
I must’ve dreamed a thousand dreams
Been haunted by a million screams
But i can hear the marching feet
They’re moving into the street.
Now did you read the news today
They say the danger’s gone away
But i can see the fire’s still alight
There burning into the night.
There’s too many men
Too many people
Making too many problems
And not much love to go round
Can’t you see
This is a land of confusion.
This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we’re given
Use them and let’s start trying
To make it a place worth living in.
Ooh superman where are you now
When everything’s gone wrong somehow
The men of steel, the men of power
Are losing control by the hour.
This is the time
This is the place
So we look for the future
But there’s not much love to go round
Tell me why, this is a land of confusion.
This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we’re given
Use them and let’s start trying
To make it a place worth living in.
I remember long ago –
Ooh when the sun was shining
Yes and the stars were bright
All through the night
And the sound of your laughter
As i held you tight
So long ago –
I won’t be coming home tonight
My generation will put it right
We’re not just making promises
That we know, we’ll never keep.
Too many men
There’s too many people
Making too many problems
And not much love to go round
Can’t you see
This is a land of confusion.
Now this is the world we live in
And these are the hands we’re given
Use them and let’s start trying
To make it a place worth fighting for.
This is the world we live in
And these are the names we’re given
Stand up and let’s start showing
Just where our lives are going to.The video is HORRIFING.

Thanks Stealth, I must admit that this is the first time I’ve heard this cut. A minute and 20 second guitar solo introduction is impressive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxrhRitq_zU

Anonymous6Thanks Jan, another song that I am unfamiliar with.
Alice Cooper: Poison
Your cruel device
Your blood, like ice
One look, could kill
My pain, your thrillI wanna love you but I better not touch (don’t touch)
I wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
I wanna kiss you but I want it too much (too much)
I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
You’re poison, running through my veins
You’re poison
I don’t want to break these chainsYour mouth, so hot
Your web, I’m caught
Your skin, so wet
Black lace, on sweatI hear you calling and it’s needles and pins (and pins)
I wanna hurt you just to hear you screaming my name
Don’t want to touch you but you’re under my skin (deep in)
I wanna kiss you but your lips are venomous poison
You’re poison, running through my veins
You’re poison
I don’t want to break these chains
PoisonOne look, could kill
My pain, your thrillI wanna love you but I better not touch (don’t touch)
I wanna to hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
I wanna to kiss you but I want it too much (too much)
I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
You’re poison, running through my veins
You’re poison
I don’t want to break these chains
Poison (poison)I wanna love you but I better not touch (don’t touch)
I wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
I wanna kiss you but I want it too much (too much)
I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
Yeah, well I don’t want to break these chains
Poison (poison)
Runnin’ deep inside my veins
Burnin’ deep inside my brain (poison)
Poisoning (poison)
I don’t want to break these chains (poison)
Poison

Thanks FB, another song I remember fondly hearing on the AM radio during my High School days.
Supertramp Goodbye Stanger
It was an early morning yesterday
I was up before the dawn
And I really have enjoyed my stay
But I must be moving onLike a king without a castle
Like a queen without a throne
I’m an early morning lover
And I must be moving onNow I believe in what you say
Is the undisputed truth
But I have to have things my own way
To keep me in my youthLike a ship without an anchor
Like a slave without a chain
Just the thought of those sweet ladies
Sends a shiver through my veinsAnd I will go on shining
Shining like brand new
I’ll never look behind me
My troubles will be fewGoodbye stranger it’s been nice
Hope you find your paradise
Tried to see your point of view
Hope your dreams will all come trueGoodbye Mary, goodbye Jane
Will we ever meet again
Feel no sorrow, feel no shame
Come tomorrow, feel no painSweet devotion (Goodbye, Mary)
It’s not for me (Goodbye, Jane)
Just give me motion (Will we ever)
To set me free (Meet again?)
In the land and the ocean (Feel no sorrow)
Far away (Feel no shame)
It’s the life I’ve chosen (Come tomorrow)
Every day (Feel no pain)
So goodbye, Mary (Goodbye, Mary)
Goodbye, Jane (Goodbye, Jane)
Will we ever (Will we ever)
Meet again? (Meet again?)Now some they do and some they don’t
And some you just can’t tell
And some they will and some they won’t
With some it’s just as wellYou can laugh at my behaviour
And that’ll never bother me
Say the devil is my saviour
But I don’t pay no heedAnd I will go on shining
Shining like brand new
I’ll never look behind me
My troubles will be fewGoodbye, stranger, it’s been nice
Hope you find your paradise
Tried to see your point of view
Hope your dreams will all come trueGoodbye, Mary, goodbye, Jane
Will we ever meet again?
Feel no sorrow, feel no shame
Come tomorrow, feel no painSweet devotion (Goodbye, Mary)
It’s not for me (Goodbye, Jane)
Just give me motion (Will we ever)
To set me free (Meet again?)
In the land and the ocean (Feel no sorrow)
Far away (Feel no shame)
It’s the life I’ve chosen (Come tomorrow)
Every day (Feel no pain)So now I’m leaving (Goodbye, Mary)
Got to go (Goodbye, Jane)
Hit the road (Will we ever)
I’ll say it once again (Meet again?)
Oh, yes, I’m leaving (Feel so sorrow)
Got to go (Feel no shame)
Got to go (Come tomorrow)
I’m sorry, I must dash (Feel no pain)So goodbye, Mary (Goodbye, Mary)
Goodbye, Jane (Goodbye, Jane)
Will we ever (Will we ever)
Meet again? (Meet again?)Oh, I’m leaving

A great workout song, thanks for sharing Venom
Godsmack. I Stand Alone
Now I’ve told you this once before
You can’t control me
If you try to take me down you’re gonna break
I feel your every nothing that you’re doing for me
I’m picking you out of me
You run awayI stand alone
Inside
I stand aloneYou’re always hiding behind your so called goddess
So what you don’t think that we can see your face
Resurrected back before the final fallen
Now they’ve arrest until I can make my own way
I’m not afraid of fadingI stand alone
Feeling your sting down inside me
I’m not dying for it
I stand alone
Everything that I believe is fading
I stand alone
Inside
I stand aloneAnd now its my time (now its my time)
It’s my time to dream (my time to dream)
Dream of the sky (dream of the sky)
Make me believe that this place is inplagued
By the poison in me
Help me decide if my fire will burn out
Before you can breathe
Breathe into meI stand alone
Inside
I stand alone
Feeling your sting down inside me
I’m not dying for it
I stand alone
Everything that I believe is fading
I stand alone
Inside
I stand alone
Inside
I stand alone
Inside
I stand alone
