Thanks Jan for a great ending to this week’s thread.
Gotta love any video that has Doug Neidermeyer in it!
Twisted Sister: We’re Not Gonna Take it
Oh we’re not gonna take it
No, we ain’t gonna take it
Oh we’re not gonna take it anymoreWe’ve got the right to choose it
There ain’t no way we’ll lost it
This is our life, this is our songWe’ll fight the powers that be just
Don’t pick our destiny ’cause
You don’t know us, you don’t belongOh we’re not gonna take it
No, we ain’t gonna take it
Oh we’re not gonna take it anymoreOh you’re so condescending
Your gall is never ending
We don’t want nothin’, not a thing from youYour life is trite and jaded
Boring and confiscated
If that’s your best, your best won’t doOh Oh
We’re right (yeah)
We’re free (yeah)
We’ll fight (yeah)
You’ll see (yeah)Oh we’re not gonna take it
No, we ain’t gonna take it
Oh we’re not gonna take it anymoreOh we’re not gonna take it
No, we ain’t gonna take it
Oh we’re not gonna take it anymoreNo way
Oh Oh
We’re right (yeah)
We’re free (yeah)
We’ll fight (yeah)
You’ll see (yeah)Oh we’re not gonna take it
No, we ain’t gonna take it
Oh we’re not gonna take it anymoreOh we’re not gonna take it
No, we ain’t gonna take it
Oh we’re not gonna take it anymoreJust you try and make us
We’re not gonna take it
Come on!No, we ain’t gonna take it
You’re all worthless and weak
We’re not gonna take it anymoreNow drop and give me twenty
We’re not gonna take it
Oh pledge pinNo, we ain’t gonna take it
Oh you and your uniform
We’re not gonna take it anymore"My father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it." - Clarence Buddinton Kelland
Life's too short to spend with promiscious women. Enjoy your passions while you still can!!
Thanks Nomad for posting both versions of Turn the Page. While I traditionally do not enjoy covers, I found both songs unique and interesting enough to play back to back.

Probably not their biggest hit in US, Dire Straits hit the proverbial MGTOW / ghost nail on the head in “Telegraph road”. The hardship and sacrifice by men a couple of generations back, now fading into oblivion. (And this song is already over 30 years old today!)
“Telegraph Road”
A long time ago came a man on a track
Walking thirty miles with a pack on his back
And he put down his load where he thought it was the best
Made a home in the wilderness
He built a cabin and a winter store
And he ploughed up the ground by the cold lake shore
And the other travellers came riding down the track
And they never went further, no, they never went back
Then came the churches then came the schools
Then came the lawyers then came the rules
Then came the trains and the trucks with their loads
And the dirty old track was the telegraph roadThen came the mines – then came the ore
Then there was the hard times then there was a war
Telegraph sang a song about the world outside
Telegraph road got so deep and so wide
Like a rolling river. . .And my radio says tonight it’s gonna freeze
People driving home from the factories
There’s six lanes of traffic
Three lanes moving slow. . .I used to like to go to work but they shut it down
I got a right to go to work but there’s no work here to be found
Yes and they say we’re gonna have to pay what’s owed
We’re gonna have to reap from some seed that’s been sowed
And the birds up on the wires and the telegraph poles
They can always fly away from this rain and this cold
You can hear them singing out their telegraph code
All the way down the telegraph roadYou know I’d sooner forget but I remember those nights
When life was just a bet on a race between the lights
You had your head on my shoulder you had your hand in my hair
Now you act a little colder like you don’t seem to care
But believe in me baby and I’ll take you away
From out of this darkness and into the day
From these rivers of headlights these rivers of rain
From the anger that lives on the streets with these names
‘cos I’ve run every red light on memory lane
I’ve seen desperation explode into flames
And I don’t want to see it again. . .From all of these signs saying sorry but we’re closed
All the way down the telegraph road
Anonymous1Ron Gallo – Young Lady, You’re Scaring Me
Let’s get a house, you and me and your twelve cats
We’ll put mirrors on the ceiling
We’ll have a bunk bed by the bath
You’ll line my mattress with nails
One for every time something psycho came out of your mouth
Your cavern eyes are preying
Your scarlet lips half saying
A sales pitch for the circus in your mindYoung lady, you’re scaring me
Dumbbell right to the temple
Carry me to your shrine
Dedicated to the prince of the last of your nine lives
She waited in the darkest corner all night
Until I closed up shop, I turned out the lights
Then she begged for me to drive her home
I thought about the Kensington Strangler as I was about to say “NO”
When we pulled up to her bleeding dollhouse
She said, “Park behind the hearse.”
I said, “No need. Get out and take your purse.”Young lady, you’re scaring me
Remember that time you wrote me two hundred letters, never once to a single reply?
Remember they all referenced a love that wasn’t real?
Considering we talked maybe one or two timesYoung lady, you’re scaring me
Here’s blue pill hell summed up:
“Self Esteem”
I wrote her off for the tenth time today
And practiced all the things I would say
But she came over, I lost my nerve
I took her back and made her dessertNow I know I’m being used
That’s okay, man, ’cause I like the abuse
I know she’s playing with me
That’s okay ’cause I got no self esteemWe make plans to go out at night
I wait ’til 2 then I turn out the light
This rejection’s got me so low
If she keeps it up I just might tell her soWhen she’s saying that she wants only me
Then I wonder why she sleeps with my friends
When she’s saying that I’m like a disease
Then I wonder how much more I can spend
Well, I guess I should stick up for myself
But I really think it’s better this way
The more you suffer
The more it shows you really care
Right? Yeah, yeah, yeahNow I’ll relate this little bit
That happens more than I’d like to admit
Late at night she knocks on my door
She’s drunk again and looking to scoreNow I know I should say “No”
But that’s kind of hard when she’s ready to go
I may be dumb but I’m not a dweeb
I’m just a sucker with no self esteemWhen she’s saying that she wants only me
Then I wonder why she sleeps with my friends
When she’s saying that I’m like a disease
Then I wonder how much more I can spend
Well, I guess I should stick up for myself
But I really think it’s better this way
The more you suffer
The more it shows you really care
Right? Yeah, yeah, yeahFormerly MoneyOverBitches
Fleetwood mac, “Go your own way”. Maybe a puzzled and frustrated woman’s reaction to a MGTOW man’s behaviour?
Loving you
Isn’t the right thing to do
How can I ever change things
That I feel
If I could
Maybe I’d give you my world
How can I
When you won’t take it from me
You can go your own way
Go your own way
You can call it
Another lonely day
You can go your own way
Go your own way
Tell me why
Everything turned around
Packing up
Shacking up is all you want to do
If I could
Baby I’d give you my world
Open up
Everything’s waiting for you
You can go your own way
Go your own way
You can call it
Another lonely day
You can go your own way
Go your own way
You can go your own way
Go your own way
You can call it
Another lonely day
Another lonely day
You can go your own way
Go your own way
You can call it
Another lonely day
You can go your own way
You can call it
Another lonely day

“She got the gold mine, I got the shaft”
"Once you’ve taken care of the basics, there’s very little in this world for which your life is worth deferring." -David Hansson. "It’s not when women are mean or nasty that anything is out of the ordinary. It’s when they are NICE to you that you have to be on high alert..." -Jackinov.
A good number of guys on here would appreciate this song.
‘Back Off Bitch’ (Guns ‘N Roses)
Contains NSFW language. In the video the “other woman” appears to be a seducer/homewrecker, but if you just listen to the lyrics it’s not really about seducing a married man but about a choice. The choice is between marriage/family and freedom, between being the dutiful husband living a life of suburban drudgery and being free to pursue sex without obligation. As I see it the woman singing isn’t real; she’s a representation of that choice and all the women available to the man who doesn’t shackle himself to one woman.
Love Stinks!
"I need men, real men, men with balls, certainly not sissies. I would never ask them to take an enemy position, but I insist that they follow me to that position. If you are one of those men, raise your hand." Napoleon Bonaparte
The man steps out in the moonlight
At the sound of a scream from below.
He thinks he is a warrior
So he picks up his sword and goes. From the mouth of the monster
He rescues the maiden fair.
But we know she’s a demon
Come to lure him to demon’s lair.Through restless foliage and tall trees he leads
To a house in a clearing, a place in her fear she calls home.“Come with me, I need you,
I fear the dark and I live all alone.
I’ll give you wine and food too
And something special after if you like.”And though his body bids him
To enter in with her,
There was something in her manner
That his mind could not ignore. Also it is whispered
In the kingdom far and wide,
To beware a little cottage
In the forest in a glade. For who knows what magic takes place in his world?
So he just thanks her kindly preparing to go on his way.“Come with me, I need you,
I fear the dark and I live all alone.
I’ll give you wine and food too
And something special after if you like.Come to my garden,
Taste the fruits and the spices of love.
You can’t resist me,
I’m the kind that your dreams tell you of.”“So glad you could make it
We had everything arranged.
So glad you saw fit to pay a call.”Some men never listen,
And others never learn,
But why this man did as he did
Only he will ever know.He knew he was walking
Into a waiting trap,
Neatly set up for him
With a bait so richly wrapped. So he went inside there to take on what he found
But he never escaped them, for who can escape what he desires?“Come with me, I need you,
I fear the dark and I live all alone.
I’ll give you wine and food too
And something special after if you like.”Jackyl is one of the bands that gave me massive doses of red pill back in the day. So many of their songs are MGTOW, or red pill in some form and these guys don’t sugar coat it.
Here’s one about women who ride the c~~~ carousel of “bad boys”, and try to control the simps.
