I was discussing relations~~~s with my neighbour who happens to be a full-hard-right Christian and I mentioned the book ‘Men On Strike’ by Helen Smith.
He told me that any Christian man should be able to make a marriage work successfully as long as he follows God’s laws and the bible!
So what do y’all think? Is this true? Is this the advice that we should be giving young men who are contemplating marriage? Thoughts???

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha LMBO!
You have a hardcore fool for a neighbor! HA ha ha ha ha ha LMFBO!
If he really knew his s~~~ he’d say; yup it’s in biblical prophecy, the exodus has begun! I’m with you guys, there is a heaven on earth!
Well, he’s partially right, since the Bible commands wives to be obedient to their husbands in EVERYTHING. But he’s also wrong. It takes two hands to clap. The marriage only works if both spouses are following the rules of the Bible. But the state gives the husband no coercive power over his wife, which means she’s the one who decides whether the marriage works or not. So no, a man can’t “make” a marriage work, he can only hope against very bad odds.
I would not advise anyone to get married, whether he follows the Bible or not, because there’s no guarantee that SHE will, and no way to make her.

If BOTH the husband and the wife are strong and devote Christians then why wouldn’t a marriage be a safe bet?
Are you saying that we can’t trust the Christian woman to behave IAW God’s word???
I must disagree with Tower–partially. God has a plan for the life of every person on the planet. In the Bible he gives us guidance on how our lives should be ordered, through obedience to his will and authority. In the context of the Bible marriage is not a contract (as we understand it today) rather it was meant to be a physical and spiritual union…a joining of two into one. This of course means that BOTH men and women have responsibilities and obligations in a marriage. In that context marriage can work. And there is proof of this found in history. For centuries marriage worked reasonably well in any number of societies, cultures, and races.
God also made clear that although he has a plan for someone’s life they are not obliged to follow his plan because people have free will. People can choose to reject God, His laws, His strictures, His plan. This is what women have wrought. They reject his plan, they reject his authority, they reject and repudiate his laws. Under those circumstances marriage CANNOT work.
Completely agree.

If SHE also follows God’s laws, then yes marriage can be workable and maybe even pleasurable. But I would not bet on the last part in today’s society.

I’m giving Pete a plus 100. I agree with Pete. I wish I was as eloquent with words.

So then, would you or would you not recommend marriage if both the man and the woman were strong, devoted and deeply religious Christians???
My fathers best friend was a die hard preacher and later worked for microsoft and we were fundamental Christians. A few years later the preacher gets divorced for no reason. It was a red pill moment for me.
My father was a strong Christian, married to same woman his whole life, told me to go MGTOW (before it was a term) back in 2003. I wish I could see him again to thank him. I never married, a lot because of what he said, I hope I get to see him again someday to tell him how important he was.
So to answer your question no! Men should go TOW!
"what a waste of a life, to marry, give up your freedom, just for the hope of not dying alone. Don't get married Son."

Yeah, that’s basically what I’m saying. Sure, there may be devoted Christian women, but how can you tell the real from the fake? Women can tell the most egregious lies with a straight face and without batting an eyelid. Are you willing to bet everything on your ability to read her?

I would never recommend marriage

Bible? Old testament or new?

Out of curiosity, how old is your neighbor and how many years has he been married? Also, what does his wife weight?
Even if things all changed tommorow i still would choose to be on my own . Been at the church again today about my idea . Old lady there today asked me this and she knows much of my life and this she brought up to me . We debated nawalt and after discussing in a civil manner she admitted that woman of today are shocking and are very different from her day . Alot of people have no idea about the new laws . Or for that fact how bad things are in europe or about trump . Just what the sheeple hear on tv . See here in oz the laws are slipped in with just a little bit of bulls~~~ and a ton of properganda . Every one is blind to whats really going on and choose to ignore reality .

Mat 19, 9-12
9 And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sex sins, and marries another, is guilty of sex sins in marriage. Whoever marries her that is divorced is guilty of sex sins in marriage.”
10 His followers said to Him, “If that is the way of a man with his wife, it is better not to be married.” 11 But Jesus said to them, “Not all men are able to do this, but only those to whom it has been given. 12 For there are some men who from birth will never be able to have children. There are some men who have been made so by men. There are some men who have had themselves made that way because of the holy nation of heaven. The one who is able to do this, let him do it.”

My neighbour I believe is 84 and his wife is about the same in kilos. They’ve been married since the beginning of time.
The bible has two testaments!?!
Thanks for all the replies. The consensus seems to be that marriage would work for the devoted Christian man provided the Christian woman follows the word of God too. However, a woman cannot be trusted to do that so it seems we’re basically back to the AWALT principle even with Christians…
If your friend claims to be christian, then confront him with this.
Matthew 6:1-18
Concerning Almsgiving
6‘Beware of practising your piety before others in order to be seen by them; for then you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
2 ‘So whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. 3But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.*
Concerning Prayer
‘And whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.*
‘When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
Concerning Fasting
16 ‘And whenever you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. 17But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

@german truther
Nah, I won’t confront him about his beliefs. When you point out contradictions and all the stuff that doesn’t make any sense it only p~~~es people off. They’re not going to change their beliefs nor will they concede. He’s my neighbour and I can’t afford to p~~~ any of my neighbours…
My wife turned into a “Devout Christian Women” sometime after marriage, and what a train wreck she has become. One moment she’s spouting God this and God that, and then the next she says to me, “Don’t tell me what to do !!”
For all the religion she swallows on a daily basis one would think it would make her into a “loving Wife and Mother”, but it has only turned into a more narrow minded hateful bitch on all fronts.
If I ever get involved with another women for more then 20 minutes, she will have to be non-religious.
