If a medial issue came up it is of value to know who are the bio parents. If for no other reason do it for that one.

You know the genetics part of most chronic issues. If your kids have a parent that is diabetic then it sure as the world needs to be known so it can be part of your observations of their health.

Knowing the genetic makeup of your children can be helpful not only so you can spot the early symptoms of various diseases more easily, but also in the event that she needs a blood transfusion, and you don’t have to find out at the last second that your blood doesn’t match.

The kids don’t have to know, but in your place I would want to know, if only for medical and safety reasons. But you have custody, so they’re all YOUR kids. An adopted child can be as much your kid as a biological one, because how children are raised and by whom has much more to do with the kind of person they turn out to be than their genes.

Totally get the point medically . But the damage of a woman can be life long .

I was offerd a dna test and refused it .

Medical was the main thing i thought of . It played on my mind a bit .

My exes mother was telling my youngest that i wasnt her dad . When i was with the ex the grand mother would love when i answerd the phone to tell me her daughter was playing up on me (wich i knew) but also would tell me my youngest isnt mine .

It is a complex thing to go threw in your mind .

Glad i never did because it would of been a worse turn out for me and my family . It would of made things worse at an already emotional time of the family court .
