I told him not to be scared because there was nothing in this house. He didn’t believe me he went into every single area and couldn’t believe that nothing was happening. Finally he gave up and said they must have left. I told him I had the house cleansed prior to me moving in I do that with all the places I move into because it is a cultural thing from where my parents grew up in eastern Europe. I get noises now and then from the attic but I know its some form of animal that I eventually get rid of like a bat or a mouse but nothing haunted in it. Kids in the area think it is haunted too and a lot of the old people in the area talk about it being haunted too and I have to keep telling them it is not haunted. Every Halloween I get a few people asking if they can come in and check my house and I always tell them no. My house is my sanctuary the only reason I let that guy in was because he used to live here and I wanted to show him there was nothing to fear. After he left he felt better about himself and the house he had deep rooted fear inside him that he carried for so long I was glad to help him remove that from his life.

And since then you’ve never experienced anything? Sometimes spirits only appear to kids. Or only kids can see them or whatever. Did he look scared walking around? That was kind of you to let him in lol. THat must have been weird as f~~~ for him to enter a house he lived in after so many years of being away. Did he look creeped out?

Where did it go, DYD? I’m not too sure.
The hedge on both sides of the road was pretty dense and there was no sign of a path or track.
Yet the ‘being’ passed with no great concern, there was no struggling with the undergrowth, trying to get out or into the hedge.
Its actions where exactly the same as yours would be, stepping off a sidewalk, crossing a road and then mounting the sidewalk on the other side and continuing on your way.
In Ireland there are traditional stories of ‘fairy paths’, a network of roadways that are used by the ‘little people’ but remain unseen by humans.
All sorts of bad s~~~ goes down if you accidentally build a house across one of these roadways! The most bearable being the inability to keep doors or windows shut!

My stepfather told me a true story when I was about 15, which s~~~ me up at the time haha.

When he was younger and living in the RAF barracks, he and his friends were informed that a guy at the barracks (a friend of one of the other guys there) had been tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. They were awoken later that night by a deafening blood curdling scream and ran to the room where it was coming from. The guy who was friends with the dude that died, was in pieces, sobbing and shaking like mad with fear.

He told my stepdad and everyone else his dead mate had walked into the room while he was awake, and stood there with his helmet on, and laughed manically, with an evil look in his eyes. He then disappeared.

Maybe the guy had had a terrible nightmare, but he was adamant he was awake.

Anyone had some weird s~~~ happen that you just couldn’t explain?

By any chance did you have a window open in your room and another open in a different room. In my house sometimes the doors will close from the air currents. OR when someone closes a door downstairs the air current will somehow close a different door.

When I was like eight I saw a green glowing man going through papers at my counter.

I have woken up multiple times and seen shadowy figures as well.

At your counter? You mean he was in your room?

No mate, i checked EVERYTHING. I was so perturbed by the experience I checked everything. It was winter. Never any windows open, there was no draft, the door just wasn’t able to move on its own accord. Remember i saw the door handle go down, one of them long handles that you press down to open. It went down, door opened, stayed half way open, door shut, handle went back up. It was utterly bizzare and unnerving. Its a bungalow flat, very small. I even bought a mate round the day after to test the door out and to help me figure it out. He couldnt figure it out either.

My parents owned a farm in New Zealand once, in the middle of f~~~ing nowhere. It was perched on a hill like count draculas house, had a huge old barn that used to be used to sheer sheep, and had these well known caves near by that people would drive to to check out. Mountains everywhere. It really was creepy at night. It wasnt much better during the day. I always had this uneasy feeling like i was being watched. MY brother felt it too.

My mother saw weird s~~~ there as well, but i only heard the odd footstep in the kitchen when i was on the computer in the open plan study near by. The kitchen floor was wooden and id hear it creek like someone was walking across it.

Actually, a subject I’m really interested in would be Portals.
Mainstream science seems to accept the fact/possibility of alternate universes and timelines.
A Portal would be a place where these timelines/parallel universes intercept and allow access.
And yet again, EVERY culture has warnings of places where people can and have just vanished, sometimes to return, sometimes not.
And again, the fact that, just as with stories of the ‘little people’, these tales are shared by cultures as diverse as the Eskimos, bushmen living in the Kalahari desert, Siberian mountain men and American Indians, makes me think there must be some grain of truth there.
Anybody have any experiences?

Personally I have never experienced anything paranormal but that does not mean it does not exist. There are many people in our world that have had experiences that can not be explained but should not be dismissed just because science cannot explain their experience.

As for the guy yes he was very scared almost shaking I never seen a grown man scared like that before. After spending about half an hour in the house and giving him a drink to relax he no longer felt the way he did when he first arrived. He was happy that he came to take a look again and I was glad to help him conquer his fears.

I’m interested in it as well. Inter-dimensions and time travel. The primary universe and tangent universe, like in Donnie Darko. Fascinating stuff. I’ve read stories of people just vanishing as well, and people going somewhere else than coming back freaked out lol.

I believe there are lots of things out there that we lack the ability to sense. Just like UV and my cell phone signal I can’t see or hear it with out electronic help, but it’s there. I think it’s a good assumption there are other things that exist without our knowledge. Even the math used for time indicates that how we perceive time as linear is most likely not how it fully works. So discarding the idea of ghosts would be like discarding the idea of viruses because I can’t see them. I keep an open mind about the paranormal.

It could be an alternate timeline that just gets cross-wired into our own which would explain ‘ghostly’ experiences. Seeing people that ‘aren’t really there’ and hearing weird s~~~.

From my second story, at the door of my room, I can see down
through my stairwell to the counter on the first floor.

He was sitting on a stool going through papers on the counter. I stared for like 10 seconds and tried to yell or speak but I couldnt do either and then I just ran into my parents room.

I’m not looking to get laughed at (I know too late) I have some psychic ability. I can feel the presence of spirits. I can’t see them,but can feel them .I’ve lived in 2 houses with spirits. The first I was 18. I could feel the presence of a Man. Not unfriendly,but there watching me. I later found out that an old guy had died in that room. The second time a few years back.I lived in a house with a demonic spirit in it. It was awful. Mr. Spirit didn’t like me ,cause I new what he did. He had stabed,and hacked woman to death and buried her in the back yard.There were signs given to me.Nothing in my entire life has scared me that bad. All I can say to people seeking out the paranormal is,be careful what you wish for.
