Online dating is almost dead. Sites like OKCupid are explicitly motivating women to take the first step in interacting with men. The business logic here is that men are waking up to their disadvantage on the dating market, causing traffic rates and thus revenue to drop. Online dating is literally killed because women are non-responsive to the majority of men, and refuse to approach.

They structured their entire approach with profits in mind. Like any other commodity, if enough customers don’t want it, it will not be on the market. I would be interested in seeing a correlation chart between the drop in male online dating participation and the rise in fleshlght sales.

Ya checks out. I erased my profiles off POF, OKC, Zoosk, whatever other ones I was on probably six months ago. Tired of wasting my time drafting a personalized introduction , reading through their profiles and pictures trying to find things to comment on or things in common. Drafting the perfect profile intro, the perfect pictures both that should statistically get attention and responses. 99.9998 % non-responsive, then they bitch and say in their profiles things like tell me about yourself, just don’t say Hey or i won’t response. Ah f~~~ it, better things to do with my time, and i’m geographically disadvantaged where I live and the breeding stock seems to be quite low quality anyhow. Better off MGTOW.

I have a female friend a bit older than I am who was recently complaining about some of the generic messages she got on her dating profile, or how men on there couldn’t start a conversation. I asked her if she ever emailed anyone first because its pretty damn hard to come up with s~~~ to start a non-generic conversation when you only have a paragraph and a couple pictures to go off. It was like her mind was blown after that, and she stopped bitching about her online dating experience lol. It was certainly for her to criticize all the men, yet it was totally her expectation they’d be on there to impress her, entertain her, and do everything to get the ball rolling while all she had to do was just sit back and wait…then bitch when it didn’t work. She’s like mid 40s, pretty chubby, definitely post wall…so pretty much rock bottom for SMV…yet she still couldn’t be bothered with putting any more effort into beyond a generic paragraph and a few crappy pics.
