It’s true that younger MGTOWs can learn a whole lot from us old geezers but I value the opinions and views of the young MGTOWs in here. As I stated previously, every generation gets smarter and more intelligent than the next so I recognize that there is a lot to learn from the younger guys as well as this world changes and becomes more their environment than ours.
Also, I’m 47 with enough experiences for two lifetimes yet enough mistakes to fill a cargo container and I do pay heed to my elders and give them the respect they deserve, first because I realize I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed and second because I can sometimes be as naive as a child due to my mental condition that keeps aggravating as time goes by.
I also find fascinating to talk to the 20-somethings and get fresh new perspectives on issues and matters that have been beaten to death by my generation without finding ourselves – as a specie – any better off than when those issues started to rear their ugly heads.
And to finish, I’ll add that we – as older gents – owe a debt to these younger ones who find themselves in the middle of a war they had no idea was raging while they were in middle-school but now are embroiled in it by virtue of what sex they happen to be born with so I think it’s good that we are able to exchange stories and ideas right here at mgtow.com, without putting them down for some of their immature and sometimes ill-advised choices.

I’m 50 and look back wondering how I could be so stupid in my early 20’s. How I’d love to have a time machine sometimes.

However, maybe that horrible experience causes me to appreciate my freedom so much more than if I hadn’t lived through the misery.

Towards the end of the awful experience of being legally bound to a woman, I had just given up and was waiting for death. Then, some light of freedom started to shine and it was like I was being released from jail. The light began to shine brighter and I could taste the freedom. It was and is wonderful.

Now how do I go back in time and convince my 20 something self that he is living the good life and will continue to do so as long as he never gets married, thereby not wasting 21 years of my life?

well, as an early 30’s guy I have to say that you are lucky to go MGTOW so young. I spent too much money and energy on women instead of pushing myself forward, I told myself “don’t quit the job you hate now, You should focus on woman” what a simp… only now I’m partly pleased with my life, after making a s~~~ load of changes.

It’s even harder to get to that point when you hit 30, because I always thought that by that time I’ll have a wife and 2 kids, now I know what happens to you once you fall into that trap, lucky for me It didn’t happen.

When I was 30, I wondered what I would do differently if I was 20 again.

It’s just a birthdate. Approaching 40 now and living like I’m 19. But with the bonus being, I have two decades of knowledge and wisdom to keep things under control.

And THAT is what women try to destroy with marriage. Man’s spirit. And at a time when he should be maximizing his life force in his 30s and beyond.

I’ve said this to too many people to keep track of: Guys are done “maturing” at around 26-28, 30 at the latest. I’m not ANY more mature than I was then. I’m older, but you have to remind me because I haven’t matured a damn bit since then. My back and knees hurt a little more.

Beyond that I have “insider movies” in my head from the 4000 customers I served over an 18 year lifespan. And countless stories and observations.

Yep, me too. I still do the things at 44 that made me happy at 24, and that keeps me young, fit and enjoying my life. I dont care what anyone else thinks of my life, its mine and i’m the one who has to live it. 🙂

I was very lucky to learn the mistakes from past friends who been in relationships that had to deal with the drama and bulls~~~ women bring. My first relationship was hell which taught me even more. And my second one was just dumb. I had to get out before I got trapped and I am glad I did!

Still, to this day I still hear many stories, on here and in real life, which teaches me more. Information is great if you know how to use it follow it for yourself. I also trust my gut and back off or leave when I have too. There are some sneaky c~~~s out there that will try to seduce you once they see who you really are (I swear they know they cant get me or something, its f~~~ed)

The Older MGTOWs are the wisest and smartest because they have more experience. But truth is we all learn from something. From them, from life, and ourselves.
