BrainPilot and HR: Very well stated as always. I’m in the older age range myself being 47.

I look back to when we were younger, and we were more naive due having no reference of the phenomena as the modern feminist woman really took off just as we were born. Today’s younger guys have the internet to teach them true depths female treachery while we had to learn it through the school of hard knocks. Even though our dating pool was just as messed up, they were way more coy about it. The culture now allows women to be very open about their malicious intentions. The celebrate it without even trying to conceal it. Who the hell in his right mind would willingly step into a trap that has a flashing neon sign on it bragging about how it’s going to chew him up and spit him out when it’s done?

I believe we’re in the crack up phase of modern feminism(Thanks Ludwig Von Mises!). The feminist doctrine has poisoned the well and destroyed so many lives both male and female through its dogmas. MGTOW has very fertile soil in which to grow. We are the tip of the spear.

I arrived at being a MGHOW after many years of stupid female bulls~~~ and watching my friends go down left and right. I’ve noticed a lot of my peers are done with them too though they aren’t MGTOW. They do, however, express interest when I discuss MGTOW with them.

@AllWomanLurkers: You and your selfish ways created this growing MGTOW movement. You shall reap exactly what you have sown. We don’t even hate you for it. We thank you for introducing us to the joys of a carefree life where we can do whatever the hell we want whenever we want to do it. It’s really a wonderful place too so thanks again for forcing us to set ourselves free from your tyranny. My apologies to the 0.0000001% of the female population that qualifies as being a unicorn.

@Hollowmile: I will not allow myself near that dreck as there is not enough doppelbock on Earth to make me forget being exposed to such garbage. Vomit bag is all I need to know so thanks for the warning.

I’m watching the Canadian MGTOW spoof of it, and Google has elected to show “How to File Bankruptcy” ads for that video. How telling is that??? BWAHAHAHAHA.

ATTENTION WHORE ALERT!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Still shading grey, check out this video of a wife who supposedly lost a bet to her husband about the movie being a success and stood outside on her balcony for a minute wearing lingerie, because of course that’s the smartest way to protest a movie about sex … notable quote from her: So ultimately in protest of this misogynistic and misguided film, I’m going to exercise my right of consent and stand outside,” she said before stepping out into the cold with her #Consent sign.

I am 52. I was 6 when Armstrong heroically stepped on the lunar soil.  My dad and I watched it on TV two years after his divorce from my mother. He gave me some strong warnings about what was ahead for me. Maybe why I didn’t marry until 26. HRP  still nailed it for me and I am bitter about being  totally blindsided and tossed overboard in the divorce culture.

BrainPilot, GoneGalt, CPIG, AFT and triklops   You all said things that struck a nerve and I relate to most all of it.The dangers were not as apparent in our time.  We had no internet to self educate ourselves. The young men of today who are MGTOW are ahead of the game for sure.

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

Cicero said that “the wise are instructed by reason; ordinary minds by experience; the stupid, by necessity; and brutes by instinct.”

The wise of this generation see the zeitgeist and become risk-averse where females are concerned.

The ordinary see and hear of others’ experience and decide not to do those specific things.

This leaves the stupid and the brutes to “man up”.  Wonderful.

Thanks for that post gonegalt. The video is not such a bad waste of time if you skip the first half of it and watch the rest with the sound muted. If you do this, she looks a little like an retarded epileptic stripper trying to do a table dance… but I’ve never seen a retarded epileptic stripper trying to do a table dance before, so it was informative. 😛

Cipher, that’s a good observation. When only the stupid and the brutes can be convinced to ‘man up’, the difference in quality of the available men from the quality of the men they expected to be available will be noticed. The complaint we should expect to hear at that point is, “where are all the ‘good’ men?”… which sounds more and more familiar lately. I get a warm, fuzzy feeling way down deep inside somewhere every time I hear a woman making that complaint.

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

With the age of the internet, in today’s world you have to want to be stupid.  Listening to all your experiences, while adding my own, saved me from a lot of the bulls~~~ of trying to “figure things out”.  In that respect I owe “some” thanks to your generation.

In today’s day of mass information I think a lot of the guys from my generation literally have to fight, against reason itself, to be a white knight or mangina.  I think it would be hard to be a mangina or white knight, nowadays, if you are simply seeking to be educated about the world.

The advent of mass communication only proves how base drives controls the average person, not critical or reflective thinking.  With that being said, I have noticed along of MGTOWs from my generation (I am 25) are intellectual in some form or another.  It makes me wonder if MGTOWs are more intellectually prone than other groups.  I have observed that a lot of the older guys are mechanics, engineers, etc.  Jobs that require critical thinking.  Even the one who don’t work in an “intellectual” field seem to come from a philosophical background of some sort.  There is a pattern.

There’s one difference between the younger and older sets that I haven’t heard mentioned anywhere. I kinda figured it out on my own, though it’s somewhat related to John Doe’s point above about mass information.

When I was coming of age way back in the 80’s, sex was a lot more alluring, because it had mystique. It was still taboo to talk about sex openly and frankly in most circles. Conversations about sex had a giggly quality. If you wanted to see porn, you had to buy a magazine or find some sleazy video store. Therefore, it was typical for a young man to idealize sex as some mystical paradise. You would think that his naivete would go away once he gets a fair amount of experience with women, but it’s not that simple. To quote the book Peter Pan Syndrome:

…it is during these two years (ages 17 and 18) that a young man’s sexuality matures to the point that sexual attitudes and preferences start to become ingrained. Whatever attitudes have developed tend to be resistant to change.

So a guy is likely to carry around the baggage of whatever attitudes about sex he developed as a young man. Instead of being able to make a rational decision based on the life experience he accumulates, he’s liable to get beaten over the head with reality repeatedly and still not “get it”. Some guys my age may finally drag ourselves into MGTOW once we’re just too worn down by repeated disillusionment to keep going.

Contrast this with younger guys, who grow up in an era where is sex has been talked to death, and any kind of porn is available at the click of a button. There’s no mystique here. While still subject to the same hormonal desires, at least they have a much better chance of being able to make rational decisions, before too much damage has been done.

Dybbuk, that describes how I arrived at MGTOW to a tee. I hit 17 and 18 in the mid-80s and totally agree. It was like a switch flipping to off.

Excellent thread @ everyone! I would attest it’s a surprise to see men as young as 18-21 already finding themselves entirely fed up with the social situation.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.
