Only about 1/10 of the US would survive, for example… probably about 1/3 of Kansas, about 1-3% of places like New York City.

That would take out a lot of feminists, soy boys and useless people.

There are places on Earth where trucks and cars are not yet 100% electronic… In Brazil, I’ve seen many cars and trucks who still ran on carburators…

One hell of a place to live in. Modern, but also old. At some places here, you can STILL see houses built 300, 350 years ago… BRazil has a little over 500 years, so that is quite a lot.

If I had to say something about Porto Alegre (and the state it is inside), is that it is like a piece of Europe, right in the middle of South America.
Specially Rio Grande do Sul (which is the state where Porto Alegre is), at the countryside, looks A LOT like Europe. Take a look at Gramado, Canela, Ijuí, Bento Gonçalves, São Francisco de Paula and other cities… If not by the higher temperatures during the year (it is Brazil, after all, LOL!), you would SWEAR you are in Europe, but in the “wrong” side of the planet…

Not even taking into account politics, an alliance between Poland and Italy can mess up must of the rest of European. A lot of goods imported into Europe to through Italian seaports. In addition, a number of the oil and natural gas pipelines from Russia to Europe go through Poland.
