Men using MGTOW label to get views or make money

There a few so called MGTOW who uses the MGTOW labels to get views or make money.
Three men I know of on youtube doing this is Trevor Freeman, Alex for Life and xpallodoc.

This is especially true for the first two guys I have mentioned. If you don’t consider themselves MGTOW or agree with the philosophy why the f~~~ keep the MGTOW name on their videos? It will do some damage and lead some men astray. These men are fools who do not understand female nature.

I’m not saying these guys can’t have girlfriends however to think that the MGTOW philosophy is extreme is pure ignorance. These men are still addicted to pussy. Gentlemen these kind of men will do damage to the manosphere. Just like what AFVM did to men. I all honestly I wish these guys would go away from youtube. People honestly don’t think deep enough they understand things on the surface. It took me more than a year and watching a lot of videos to truly understand and these guys think they understand it in less a year? I mean truly deeply understand the female nature.

What is wrong with Trevor? I don’t watch his stuff regularly, but I happen to like what I saw.

As far as Alex goes, well he does have his own videos, and has gone off and used MGTOW in some, and then spoke against it. As for the other one, I don’t recall.

The thing is that MGTOW is a label, that matches to certain things. With this, someone on YouTube will discuss it, because YouTube is all about views. You do it to get views, because you think an audience wants to hear it.

As far as making money, if the material helps MGTOWs, I would say that is a good thing. IF it helps that is. I know one author came on here speaking about a book he is selling on helping the finances of men going MGTOW. I have no problem with this.

A sign of maturity of anything, and longevity, is that a marketplace is generated around it. I take this as a good sign personally.

On the views, I am sure that some would question why I use the MGTOW label for my YouTube content, because it doesn’t map to the ideological purity some hold about MGTOW. I personally don’t care. I speak of my thoughts, as it relates to being a single man, who is a non-conformist, and also around the Christian religion. I don’t need to have the label “MGTOW” to be what I am, unlike SJWs and Feminists who need to promote that label or they apparently aren’t anything. I use it, because it is close enough to where I am, and I share my thoughts on what it works for the path of non-conformity and not marrying, as a man.

If you think MGTOW is a philosophy, with certain foundational principles that MUST be held, then I can see men who speak differently end up “using MGTOW”. As for myself, I see MGTOW more as a social trend, and lifestyle choice, that more and more men are deciding what to do. There is schools of thought connected with it, but in no way will I personally go down that path. I see arguing over what is “pure MGTOW” in terms of philosophy, to be a form of mind control, which I see undermines completely going your own way. Also, you end up, if you have MGTOW as a philosophy, end up having men who hold it valid, but don’t live it. You have men who are still married say they are “MGTOW” because they hold the principles of MGTOW as true. Heck, you even have women who will hold the principles to be true, and because it is a philosophy, they are MGTOW to, right?

I will sum up and say, how you live matters FAR MORE than what you hold in your head or some sort of compliance in thoughts of strangers on the Internet. Heck, I will go as far as to say a man can drop the MGTOW label if he feels dropping it works better for him. It is his life, not mine.

There are people that will mention Mgtow just to get popularity or stirr s~~~. I don’t care. My life is mine, and I do what I must.

If they want to “walk away” from the label, be my guest, they will not be missed. If they want to use the label for profit, be my guest, I will not watch their content if they spit bulls~~~.

Either way, man will always be “guilty”. You are dammed if you date women, and you are dammed if you don’t.

I was so dissapointed when Trevor said that. I thought he was different. Im not going to stop watching him but I feel like he did lie to get views because he not only spoke fondly of women in general but made excuses and risked his life for an iphone that she f~~~ing lost. Exactly. As MGTOW grows and becomes more noticed – read CP’s new thread Finally Got Asked if you don’t think MGTOW is being more noticed – people are going to try to use MGTOW to garner clicks, likes, views, and even money. We’ve had a recent example right here too.

Our favorite roller derby huckster Tim Patten crawled out of the woodwork to shill for his latest “book”. He paid Sandman of all people for a “review” and created two threads in as many days making sure no one missed the link.

He then started another thread on toxic femininity and heroism asking for the memberships’ ideas on the topic. Once he gathered enough anecdotes and opinions, he reworked what others had posted into a quick article – and quicker payday – at AVfM.

We’re going to see more and more of this behavior in the ensuing months as MGTOW becomes more and more noticeable to the general population.

As for all the self-proclaimed MGTOW “spokesmen” and other such blowhards on YouTube, remember if something is free YOU are the product.

People like Sandman, I can’t stand at all. He just makes videos on a daily basis through f~~~ing donations. However, I’m an advocate for free speech whatever the case. Even if it harms the philosophies I follow such as me being MGTOW. I also know that men will be demonized by society either way whether or not all of us in the manosphere got along. Which is why I simply don’t give a f~~~ about men misusing the label “MGTOW.”

You know, I just typed it in, and the number of people going down per day is approximately 150000. Out of that, let’s assume half of it is made up by men. You don’t care about that, nobody does. You don’t care about me or any other here. If I dropped dead this very second, you wouldn’t lose a second of sleep, nor would anybody else here. That’s completely fine, I’m not complaining. I can care about other men I know, that I have some connection with. But just because someone is a man doesn’t mean that alone means they demand extra attention from me. I need to know what I can or can’t do, and stick with that. Beyond this, what else can I do? I don’t think any man who doesn’t know me needs my pity. If I make contact somehow, then maybe I can speak, but I am equally at risk of saying something to make things worse.

As I see it, in regards to MGTOW, in regards to what it said in the name, AND also how men going MGTOW interact with one another, each man is for himself. Group projects flop, because it is in keeping with men going their own way and unless something is of direct benefit to them, they don’t get involved. There may be rooting involved with a guy, but Kickstarters flop, and maybe you get an emotion pull and a few bucks that way (like a response to the Mayor of MGTOWN’s work).

For me to say MGTOW otherwise is to set up men for severe disappointment and feeling they are lied to. This is how it works. Every man is for himself, and the only help you get is based on who knows you and who trusts you and thinks you aren’t a waste of time. Also, what exactly you do will end up also determining what you get. Like Keymaster will get much more help, if asked, because he runs this site, and has put in a lot here.

Going your own way can be a VERY lonely path at times. To expect it to be otherwise is to set yourself up to be unprepared. And don’t expect the 5 letters “M G T O W” to have any magical properties either.

First, help yourself, and then if you can help other men, that is fine. But this is NOT a collective effort. It is each man for himself. If you want more of collective action, go find some MRAs.
