My hope is that even after the pullback, that fans don’t just start buying again, and then these executives have to actually be accountable for their decisions. The problem is fans always just immediately forgive and forget, so these companies know they can just bide their time and then try again.

All it takes is a couple of companies going out of business for SJW bulls~~~ for everyone to stop trying it. But the American consumer base is at fault. They put up with this s~~~ for ages and defend it. All TV got ruined the same way, and now I see video games are mostly ruined too.

For me, credibility and integrity are hard to earn and easy to lose. Once it’s lost, it will have to be painstakingly gained back, and it should be harder to gain it back than it was to get in the first place.

Steve Rogers has been turned into a nazi fascist, in a boring cliche way. He is making all the same mistakes as his enemies did. Steve Rogers has been made into a Villain Sue. He makes several mistakes, but everyone around him thinks he is unbeatable and he can still lift Mjolnir (Thor’s hammer).

Frank Castle is only allowed to kill white men. (That is a hell in of itself for him.)

Prince Thor Odinson turned from a war god and hard partier to co-dependent loser whom was looking for so much support on Mjolnir that Mjolnir left him. Reading between the lines Mjolnir stopping him from being able to to use the hammer was a form of an intervention on Mjonir’s part. He still has not figured this out and he become an emotional mess any time he sees someone else lift the hammer. Also, he lost his left arm which was replaced with a magical cybernetic arm.

I am not sure what those are Marvel Comics have planned for Magneto, but I am sure it is not going to be nice.

And women main characters are almost as bad off as the men. Marvel Comics has wrecked many of their women characters in someway. Especially the fun loving female characters.

Emma Frost goes insane over a man’s death (Scott Summers). She is the ice queen in so many ways.

Jubilee has gone from a fun loving mutant to no longer being a mutant, is a vampire, and a single mother of an adopted baby.

Jennifer Walter (She-Hulk) went from a fun loving hulk to PTSD hulk.

Jessica Drew was made into a single mother.

Doreen Green (Squirrel Girl)… Let us just not go there.

Carol Danvers is made to look and act like a lesbian dyke, but no one at Marvel Comics has the courage to actually have her be in a relationship with a woman.

Jane Foster is inflicted with cancer. (Yes. You may have problems with her becoming the female Thor. But, Marvel Comics gave her cancer just to mess with Thor Odinson.)

This is the short list.

Even those characters that are (relatively) Marvel Comic’s top sellers are not safe. Rumors are that Marvel Comics is going to kill off Jane Foster (female Thor).

As many, Oh so many, of my posts have indicated, I live for my sci-fi. Old sci-fi, very old sci-fi and some newer .. up until about May 13, 2005 which is the last and most recent episode I have in my collection. Everything is older. And yet, I have collected shelves of DVD’s and who knows how many books of the stuff .. bagged and boarded.

I personally believe that sci-fi, good sci-fi is essential in keeping me seeing what is possible. It allows me to live vicariously in the future and dare to dream .. what might be. What probably will be.

But, why did I abruptly stop .. and end my collection in 2005? Finito. Done. Finished and totally satisfied in doing so. There is a reason for that .. and I guess this thread and it’s excellent title pretty much sums it up. I don’t care for the new stuff. I live for the old stuff. Need I say more?

I still buy and sell some things occasionally to other collectors .. but it’s all vintage. That fact will never change.

Do you really think even if they fixed all the characters and properties they ruined, that sales are going to back up if they keep up the bad stories, stupid sjw staff, and the other problems plaguing Marvel? The amount of damage being done now is going to really hurt once MCU movies start falling out of favor after phase 3.

The people claiming it isn’t the diversity are frankly cuckolds and social justice warriors anyway. Fans should place all the blame on them and their little “diversity” scorched earth campaign and decision making that they have done up till now. I personally still blame Dan Didio and the pile of s~~~ he created in DC for nu52 since that idiot got a hold and brought his personal politics and ran out great writers. As a result, I don’t buy comic books. I ALSO talk s~~~ about DC movies and comics all the time and it sticks because friends know I don’t just hate everything put out by DC and I always show them where to look for the good s~~~.

Say Marvel movies are great, and the comics are utter s~~~. Tell them the social justice warriors destroyed everything people loved with their university of Berkeley radical left politics. Show them a picture like this which is worth a thousand words.
