Keymaster, I have learned. I am sure you realize this, as well. It is not just what people say. It is what they do not say for a given situation.

It sounds like this company put out an ad to fill their legally mandated vag-quota.

Unfortunately, for them, companies cannot legally just place an ad stating. “We want to hire a woman for a job. Men are not to apply.” Instead, they posted an ad a job that do no intend to hire for that role.

And it just so happens, that you got caught up in their net, because you actually have the qualifications for the job they ask for. Along with you have this initiative to apply for the job.

Due to this, they are giving you the run around, in the hopes you will just quit seeking the job. So, they can hire a woman, for their vag-quota, whom they will just assign to do busy world, bleeding the company of resource that could be use for more constructive directions.
