Fanboys are what keeps star wars alive. There is a huge market with star wars as an intellectual property. She’s also full of s~~~ because Episode 7 was a massive throwback to the old movies that the fanboys loved. Go on, don’t cater. Leave it to a woman to drill a billion dollar trademark and name brand into the f~~~ing ground and make it worthless. When she is eventually forced to resign she can blame it on patriarchy.

Studio heads don’t get fired for f~~~ ups, they move to a different studio and start the process all over again.

As for c~~~-wars, the sheep will soon tire of the mass saturation and move on to the next artificial craze.

The last film was a mess.

    I wouldn’t know.

I never saw it. Don’t intend to, either. Nor anything more coming out of Lucas. I have better uses for my money.

Well she’s right. She doesn’t have to. That has consequences, however, such as Star Wars becoming s~~~, and men not spending money on s~~~, but whatever. I no longer care what these commercial entities think. F~~~ em. Star Wars is dead to me anyway. The last film was a mess.

I have given up on Star Wars now. It finished after Revenge of the Sith (an underrated film) and I just hope more and more old fans give up on it

I still haven’t watched the Feminist Awakens nor do I ever plan to.

I remember how Star Wars was considered a nerdy loser thing for a long time, and as is typical for women, as soon as it catered to them they pretended they’d always been fans and it’s popular now.

Star Wars WILL make a lot of money going forward, because women like it now, and blue pill men will always follow whatever women do. In reality women follow what men do, but on a time lag, and those men are gone so eventually Star Wars will lose its audience, but it won’t be for awhile. Whatever new thing masculine men get into now will eventually follow the same cycle. I’m not sure what it is, as I don’t really watch TV or anything now.

Agreed, I hated the farce awakens with a burning passion. What made the original so great was how groundbreaking and creative it was. The new movie was a politically correctified copy of all three originals. Even the prequels are still decent movies bc they’re original.

And don’t anybody try to fukking justify the mary sue “goddess” that is Rey, apparently she’s already stronger than Luke Skywalker after one movie.

But naturally a movie made by a women wouldn’t be original, it would hav to be a copy paste job.

My personal post of the week

It is more of a British thing but if you want to watcg an old fashioned, violent action film then I suggest Dredd.

I used to read 2000AD when I was a kid and that s~~~ Sly Stallone film aside, they finally made a film to justify how good that comic is.

For anyone who has read the comics, they know that Dredd is the f~~~ing man

I saw some clips of the Force Awakens and it’s like all other movies I’ve watched with female warrior roles. I just can’t take it seriously. There’s nothing more stupid and detached from reality than watching a 120 pound, scrawny little woman, grinning her teeth and trying to act tough, bitch you’re not.

And I get that it’s suppose to be fantasy and fiction so anything goes, but that’s just an excuse. There’s a reason they cast Hugh Jackman as the Wolverine and not some 5’4″ 120 pound midget, I apply the same rule on female roles as well.

At the end of the day, I don’t care if you’re man or woman, just don’t cast a skinny teenager looking doll as a warrior or something. I don’t buy it.

ya I shut feminist power movies off now immediately, they’re such a joke..lol guys check out the first 10 minutes of PRECIOUS CARGO on netflix, with the female power-dyke sniper slut..if you don’t shut it off as soon as you see her bulls~~~ routine, I’ll personally take a girl on a 200 dollar dinner date.

They should ask Ghost busters how well that went for them.

So when is her transgendered Sith Lord going to debut?

I wouldn’t give a plugged nickel for anything that reeks of Disney. Just euthanize Star Wars at this point it’s the only honorable thing to do to it.

Honestly, the original movies were great but I stopped caring after that. They should have left it alone but instead are trying to capitalize on continuing a story that has nowhere left to go and all for the sake of getting women interested in a genre that most of them don’t even identify with.

The last movie was basically a remake of A New Hope. They spent 2 hours looking for something while trying to keep the Empire from getting the same thing.

Return of the Jedi was crap, Phantom Menace and Clone Wars didn’t need to be made because Revenge of the Sith explained the entire prequel. I agree with Jim, Sith was a decent movie. So 3 out of the 8 movies are worth watching.

The first two movies and Sith will always be great and I have no problem skipping the next pieces of garbage that will be spit out.

Yep and of those 8 movies, take out Jar-Jar and the Ewoks and all that only improves things.

I didn’t watch the new Star Wars because of what I had read, but when I did I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t so terrible.
Star wars is an important story, at least for me, having been exposed to The Power Of Myth by Bill Moyers, which explained the cultural significance of the movie in terms of technological, spiritual, and political perspectives wholey unique in the MSM until then.

Ep. 1: Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth — ‘The Hero’s Adventure’

Star Wars is going to reinvent Disney. It’s not as bad as it seems.
