I vehemently oppose Antinatalism.
its a sophomoric philosophy for the emotionally unhealthy
im surprised to see you gents falling for such petty nihilistic bullcrapI’m actually surprised how hostile you sound towards it.
It doesn’t seem like you’ve taken the time to study its premise and impact.
I found the Antinatalism thing most interesting. I now wonder how many people there might be who would actually agree with it.
For antinatalism, read population control.
Malthus was right – population control is essential if disaster is to be avoided.
The idea that children are a ‘blessing’ is pushed by those with something to gain. Wimmin – meal ticket. The state – cannon fodder and taxes. The churches – power and money.
I suspect that it’s another one of those ‘taboo’ subjects that most proponents would tend to remain silent about.
You would think at first glance that the eco-nutters would be all for population control, but they avoid the subject. But then, it’s not so surprising when you consider that the vast majority are wimmin.
They aren’t likely to abolish their meal ticket, are they?
what is there to study? the depressed psychos hate their own shi!tty lives and this world so much, that they try to say its so bad that we shouldnt have babies, that ….. Im not even gonna try to argue… Antinatalism is so fvcking retarded it doesnt even deserve the dignity of an opponent. Its self defeatist crap… like TFL and FA.
again, surprised how yall fall for a weird Subjective EMO philosophy
not attacking you personally dude… but I knew the first time I looked antinatalism up that it was a joke…
theyre basically advocating for extinction. again, its irrational and proves how Neurotic they are
pretty much kept my nose to the grindstone and followed the rules. Professional success was just following the rules. But when I put my foot down and told a female manager to stop bullying me, I was out of the house like gas through a funnel. My career ended in an hour.
Similar story here – my first red pill moment if you want to put it into that vernacular. Twenty years ago my then-employer merged with another company any my new supervisor informed me that I have a “deeper male voice” and I have to remember to keep my volume down because they’re not used to having men around, and I’m a distraction. If we had today’s cellphone recording technology back then I might be retired right now.

I ate a delicious steak for lunch and enjoyed the sunny weather while taking my dog for a long walk. It was a pretty awesome day today. If I wasn’t born, I couldn’t have enjoyed that. Any other retarded questions?
Thank you Beer
Their argument is nihilism which is a bunk philosophy.
You can’t compare any range of human experience, torturous or blissful, with that of pure nonexistence… Where is the benchmark?
The Red Flag is that
The sort of sustained pessimism required to subscribe to antinatalism is telling of an emotional/spiritual/moral bankruptcy.
Life is more than textbook philosophy and arguing semantics. We have neutransmitters. There is nothing wrong bring life into this world.
Antintalism is absurd and dismissed as a bad joke…

I can’t even afford steak so I can’t fault you there. But if you have never existed you wouldn’t even know what you missed. I’m still not seeing how existing beats non-existence…

How so? Instead of just bashing the concept of antinatalism, convince me that existence is better than nonexistence…
For all you know, nonexistence is hell. The challenge is bunk
Youre asking me to prove a negative, its like Christians demanding proof theres no god.
hey buddy, we’re all just assholes with opinions right. no big deal. who cares. But here is something I know you will enjoy Autolite.
LOL. My buddy showed me this today, couldnt help but crack a sh!teating grin

The only comparison that makes sense with regards to non-existence is that of deep sleep.
You go to bed, fall asleep right away and wake up 13 hours later and it seems like you JUST fell asleep. 13 hours of pure unconsciousness. Nothing unpleasant about it. Nothing terrifying about it.
Jesus playing Marco Polo, LOL.
Also, I’m more of a passive aggressive asshole. LOL
The purpose of life in our physical shells in this terrestrial realm:
This is just my insight and perspective resulting from the time I have spent here and endured. Triumph and tragedy with no regrets. Blood, sweat and tears. Still unbroken.
But this experience is just a testing ground for what lays beyond. Be grateful for the adversity and injustice that you are forced to endure and survive here. It has been conditioning you for the next level of consciousness and existence without you even realizing it.
What may appear to you as aspects of life that are not fair, is actually part of the test. To see if it can break you or cause you to give up. Energy is circular and it responds accordingly.
Give up and surrender here and you jeopardize the possibility of being able to transcend to the next level. Due to the fact that your spirit and lifeforce are not worthy. I’m not referring to worthiness in terms of morality or ethics: But resilience and survival.
If you are only willing to endure the time spent in this mortal realm, if given ideal and optimum life factors – You have essentially already given up.
Respond to the world, fate and destiny in a manner that is required and consistent with your internal lifeforce and you increase your chances of transcending.
Give up and you have surrendered that option.
The purpose of life in our physical shells in this terrestrial realm: […] But this experience is just a testing ground for what lays beyond. Be grateful for the adversity and injustice that you are forced to endure and survive here. Yes – this plane is intended as a learning experience.
Sex desire is the greatest of the chains that binds you. Until that is conquered, you cannot progress to the next level. The ancients understood this.
You guys and your depressed outlook on life because life is not fair in terms of social status, money and acquisition of pumpkin holes.
It is a sign that you have not suffered enough while simultaneously finding the strength to rise up from that point and fight on.
Over the course of my life, I have found hope and beauty in places that it is least likely to be found. I’ve embraced darkness, knowing that it’s inability to break me, renders it impotent. And I have managed to find meaning in life experiences that would appear to have been hopeless.
In that sense, I am wealthier than any man with a billion dollars. Despite the fact that I would like a billion dollars: Wealth is not necessary to fully experience and appreciate the lessons that this journey of life is designed to teach those that are willing to grasp.
I have found hope and beauty where one might not even notice. On a road trip once, a ferrel cat was near a dumpster at a gas station that I got fuel at. When I went inside, I bought two cans of tuna fish, grabbed an opener from the supplies in my Jeep and walked over. It was raining and cold. I emptied both cans on the ground as the cat stared at me and I reached my arm out with an empty can so it could smell it. As the cat got closer, I started to walk away backwards until it reached the tuna fish. It smelled the tuna fish, started eating then looked up at me and unleashed a vicious hiss. And I could see it’s eyes. Empty eyes as it hissed. And I realized that creature had a story that I would never know. While cats with homes lay asleep that night, warm and with food – that one was out, having never known human companionship and care or having been abandoned near the freeway long ago. But that cat did not dwell on it and never gave up. I walked back to my Jeep, inspired by a survivor that never gave up.
Fall down seven times, get up eight.
If that cat is still alive, it’s because he/she keeps getting back up.
DEO VINDICE
For all you know, nonexistence is hell.
I seriously doubt that you believe that. We all came from nonexistence. I don’t seem to recall anything really negative about it myself…
You guys and your depressed outlook on life because life is not fair in terms of social status, money and acquisition of pumpkin holes.
Well, those are fairly shallow goals. I don’t care about those. Maybe money, so I could retire now, but that’s it.
I came to that conclusion by careful reasoning and contemplation, not by feeling sorry for myself.
It is a sign that you have not suffered enough while simultaneously finding the strength to rise up from that point and fight on.
I’ve avoided major suffering by wise decisions and by staying away from c.unts and drugs and all that low-level sh.it. But it doesn’t mean I haven’t suffered. How can you say that without knowing me ?
I’m not whining, I can only see existence with clear eyes. Not tainted by the fear of a lack of afterlife.
“You guys” just aren’t ready to hear it, that’s all.
I’m not whining, I can only see existence with clear eyes. Not tainted by the fear of a lack of afterlife.
There is nothing to fear about nonexistence. We all came from nonexistence and we’re all going back to it for an eternity. Antinatalism is only saying ‘Why not just skip that bothersome bit in the middle’???
You guys go ahead and ‘skip that bothersome bit in the middle’
Go for it.
In a world where most want to give up because life isn’t as perfect as they want or they are not billionaires:
I’ve used the adversity and battle against all odds as fuel that feeds my determination and strength to keep fighting.
As long as I am blessed with eyesight, limbs, a functioning brain and another day where I can watch the sun rise then set at the end of the day, I’m going to stay alive.
Because every day that I am still alive, I make sure that the life that encompasses my existence is in itself an act of defiance against everything that has tried to keep me down.
I don’t seem to recall anything
That’s exactly my point. If you dont have a brain to receive sensory data, there is no experience to judge life’s experience from, good or bad! You cant assign an experience value to nothingness, that is a false benchmark. And that is what they try to do with the argument for Antinatalism, saying that because there is immense suffering in existence, well it would have been better to not exist. That is a logical fallacy,
Its the exact same logical fallacy Christians use in the so called anthropic principle and the cosmic constant argument. Both are bunk ass logical fallacies that William Lance Craig used to push.
They deliver zinger phrases like, “How do you explain that if the laws of physics were adjusted just .0001% then WHOOSH! nothing would have been possible! no atoms linked, no carbon, no planets, no life. And so since we find ourselves in such a seemingly unique situation; therefore God did it…”
And these bullsh!t arguments appeal to the sheep. But the astute among us see right thru it. We can see that its no more mysterious that we find ourselves here than finding two rocks on the ground that look exactly alike.
To make arguments like the ones Christians use to insist there is a God, and likewise that Antinatalists use to insist its better to never have been born… these arguments are VALUE STATEMENTS with baseless correlations.
You cant say its peculiar that we exist in the cosmos under unique conditions when there is nothing to compare this existence to. What makes it unique? There is no comparison, no benchmark from which to make such a statement.
Likewise, you cannot say its better to have not existed, when there is no comparison. To say that it would be BETTER, is a baseless value statement. The argument is not based in Logic, its a statement based on Emotion. You cant even compare nothingness to nothingness… its a false start.
