Would war be a bad thing? NK would hit a big target, that would be something like LA, NY or DC. The loss of any one of them might not be so bad, it would almost for sure change the path of self destruction the US is currently on. NK would come to an end and rouge states like Iran would have all chances of the bomb removed forever.

Most of the North Korean soldiers in the Korean war weren’t Korean. They were Chinese. Not even sure people in our government or military know this. They never asked themselves, “where oh where do these North Koreans just keep coming from…..???? Never stops!!!”

There are the U.S. internal issues. I doubt Congress will give President Trump a declaration of war and war powers. They would likely try to tie his hands to destroy him and his nationalist agenda. This could end very badly.

I think it really depends on Japan. They are the ones most likely to be attacked by North Korea.

What possible strategic value does Guam hold for North Korea?
Guam is US soil and is home to the B-1 Bombers that have been flying over the Korean peninsula lately.
It represents a great strategic threat to N Korea because those bombers can quickly decimate their command and control, political centers, and much of their artillery assets.
Guam will not be affect by any attempt at an attack because the US Air Force and Navy will not allow it.north korea is a scam.
-trump’s employment numbers are phony and he needs jobs to shore them up. war is perfect for that. and he gets to be a war president. and he might even get to push the big red button!
-the republicans succeeded in saving their beloved romneycare. now they need a war to drive the economy to save it.
-kim jong un is greedy and wants to modernize. he can’t do that with millions of working age, angry militants and a crazy militant regime, so he needs hatchetman trump to do the job. he’ll stay in power because, “we don’t want to make the same mistake we made in iraq when we removed saddam.”
-nuking guam gives the USA nuclear victimhood status which we can milk for the next century. they’ll hit the air force base, which is big and nobody will be there (assuming it even is a NK nuke, not a US nuke), and the fallout will blow east. we’ll have the mushroom cloud imagery to stir up the public.
-china wants rid of nk but has to save face, so they’ll have USA do it. they get a demilitarized southeast asia, and will be largely unopposed in the region.
-south korea’s tech industry will be obliterated, and those jobs will come back to US. right now wall street is probably shorting the hell out of samsung, hyundai, etc.
-the globalists love big wars because it reduces world population and increases their power.

I know this is highly questionable. But just for the sake of making a argument,…lets say NK hit LA. Yes it hits business, trade, the stock market. What would be the effect at having California voting block cut in half or more? Major shift from the coast controlling the agenda to the interior. Changes issues.

The best units in the Norks army are aimed right at Seoul too. When the balloon goes up they’re going to cross the DMZ like a f~~~ing tsunami and nothing will keep them out of Seoul. That’s where all you chicken hawks come in.

Japan is an ally of the US, so if the US attacks DRK, then Japan is in by default, whether it likes it or not. That’s okay for the US, but not for the Japanese, who are only down the road.
It’s the Chinese and the Japanese who’ve put the brakes on Trump.
The Chinese won’t tolerate the prospect of US missiles on their doorstep (which is what it’s really all about), and the Japanese don’t fancy being blown off the map.

Well, if WW3 is your thing, take a hotair balloon over Mecca with your backpack nuke and go boom there.
If you were creative though, you could start WW3 without a nuke, perhaps an Amazon delivery drone, with a more interesting payload.

I’m thinking we have enough low-yield tactical nuclear weapons to airburst them along the border when NK sends in troops and tries to use their artillery and kill everything, with much less fallout than if you used a surface detonation.
We could annihilate NK’s entire military and artillery in 15 minutes using small airburst nukes.
If they are still feeling froggy after that, a megaton-sized nuke airburst over Pyongyang would probably finish that s~~~.

NK wants to be recognized as a player on the global stage. That’s about it. I don’t think pudge is suicidal.
The solution I’ve heard that would probably work best is to offer him a way out to save face while looking important. Work to put into place a 100 year agreement whereby, at the end of 100 years, NK and SK will reunite. This is done in exchange for disarmament and a seat at the table.
Now he can save face and take credit for this accomplishment that’s so far out in the future as to be irrelevant while shutting down his program and becoming recognized on the world stage. That’s a good trade-off for him.
China’s a whole ‘nuther issue.
