In a court of LAW with video evidence and witnesses, in the execution of the job that I was properly trained for? Most assuredly. I have done so in the past and have been vindicated.
It’s the “court of public opinion” that interferes with the proper and JUST dispensing of justice according to what is laid out in the CCC.
Some mitigating circumstances can naturally be permitted.
However comparing stealing a loaf of bread due to hunger/starvation to stealing a tube of lipstick for vanity is a bit of a stretch.
Perhaps it is because I am in Alberta, where we still have some minute level of sanity for the time being.
