Well, here’s the difference. December 2019 is my last check. So it’s a little over 3 years. I’m sure I would feel WAY different about it if it was a life sentence. But parole isn’t that far away. Plus my company put me into another retirement account this year that I don’t have to contribute to. Basically when I’m 65 I’ll get all the money back I gave her. Accumulating tax free until then, none of it earned while we were married. In fact, I’ll have to double check, I think I may have forgotten to tell her about that one……….

Like I said, karma. My payback for taking the high road all those times.
