but some time ago, men didn’t have the every day pain to educate themselves and to become “smart” about women.

“Going along with the program” was easier than it is today. Since men get wrecked for life by divorce, the drawbacks of tradcon life cannot be unseen.

Smart men always tried to circumvent marriage. Women are always concrete blocks on a man’s legs. But this was only a valid option if that man had no problems with living as an outcast. Men with higher goals are less likely to need the crowd’s validation.

Throughout history, society put extreme pressure on men who opted out. Now – just in the last 2 to 3 decades we “happy bachelors” have become somewhat accepted. And that is because we have become too many to ignore.

And it is the screwed up divorce and family court system that made us grow in such large numbers. Without that s~~~, many men here would still be in some kind of marriage, be it happy or not.
