At the age of ten, I was living with my mother and her third husband at a house on Long Island (NY)

My dad had left when I was a year old and I had two step fathers at different points within a five year period.

One night when I was ten, and living at the new step dad’s house. I woke up downstairs at 3am when I heard arguing upstairs.

I tried going back to sleep but heard the arguing stop. I sensed something was wrong, ran upstairs and opened the door to their bedroom.

My mom’s husband was holding a pillow over her head in their bed. I jumped on his back and slammed his head into the wall behind the bed over three times.

Looked down and couldn’t tell if my mother was still breathing. Ran outside to a neighbors house and they called the police.

My mom was still breathing but the had paramedics take her to a hospital. Her husband was arrested and I was kept awake for the next few hours to give a statement. Multiple times.

The police took me to my grandmothers house and three days later my grandmother took me back to my mom’s house (step dad’s house).

She was freakin out over who was going to pay the mortgage & other bills because he was in jail.

Then she proceeded to have a major meltdown and beat the sh*t out of me while blaming me for him being in jail.

Initiations come in many forms.

There is more in the terms of patriachical then just the tradcuck version as there are different versions of it. For example the Tradcucks disagree with the Muslims and disagree with those in the past who controlled women (outside of Jebus by force).
