I generally try and follow Christ, but my faith is not very strong right now. I’ve had too many awful experiences with females who posed as Christians, as well as feminist “churches” who ignore the Bible and basically just make up whatever they want.
My first wife was theoretically Pentecostal, which is basically what led me to getting saved (-sigh- ish?) and being as Christian as I am at this point. She repeatedly cheated on me, was violent, and had problems with the truth and reality. I missed her for years until I realized that I missed the illusion of her that I had convinced myself of.
If Jesus had chosen 12 female apostles, the Church would have lasted about a week.
I find the Biblical discussions of female nature – and there are quite a few explicit ones as well as innumerable implicit ones – completely on target. I generally find the Bible fairly accurate as a guide to life, and it’s part of my embryonic own way.
"You can either love women, or understand women. You can't do both. Because once you understand women, you realize that there is really nothing to love."
Elric Greenstone I imagine that there are a lot of men who’ve experienced this. My mother died 10 years ago married to my father and had a very deep faith. Right before she died my sister woke my dad and said it’s time. He walked into the room and said “Good morning my beautiful bride, I love you”. She took her last breath right after he said that. I know she lived a very Godly life. She was an amazing person to everyone including my father.
I choose to forgive because I am the only one responsible for my own soul and I choose not to live with hate.
One thought is the change that’s taken place from my parents generation to the world today is that the Bible says in the last days most people’s love will grow cold. It also says people will be offended by everything, and that’s certainly happening as well. I think the Bible has called these times pretty accurately in a whole lot of ways.
I am a Catholic and here’s an interesting video of feminists attacking a group of men saying a Rosary and protecting a Cathedral from mostly women. There are only one or two women standing with them, It is the men standing up for God, and women attacking them for standing up for God. I do not want to hate women, I just want to see reality for what it is.
