Simple solution to your problem.

Jack hammer the concrete floor just a bit larger than the outline of your wife if she was laying horizontal.

Dig a hole down deep enough to fit someone into it.

Fill the hole as required and replace the concrete flooring.

Finally, put some sealant on the floor to prevent ever having to jack hammer the floor again.
