Carrie Fisher just died. Age 60.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.Carrie Fisher just died. Age 60.
RIP Carrie.
If you rescue a damsel in distress, all you will get is a distressed damsel.

Anonymous24Crap, right after I made my post in this thread I came across this news as well…
I will cherish my mini poster of her in Jedi slave outfit that I have had since the mid 80’s forever.
I remember how she was bitter early on about many things, and her cameo in Blues Brothers was great, she got to release some of that anger, it was an awesome role for her.
RIP girl.
I have still yet to see any non Lucas Star Wars, and I won’t, ever, as I have not given a single penny to Hollywood in the last decade. and will not do so in the future as well. My money will never go to the Leftist propaganda machine, I have no idea how good Rogue One is or is not, and I never will, cause I just don’t give a f~~~ about a franchise without it’s original creator that was such a huge part of my childhood.
Exactly—enough said.

Anonymous5I have still not seen this new film yet but I have herd it’s good- from those people that say every movie is “good” like ghost busters. That said Bobba fett:
I did enjoy the originals alot. I don’t understand why bobba fetts death was so instant hah.

Anonymous3I actually think this film was cleaver. All these little details, like the two guys from the Mos Eisley cantina (where one loses the arm) bumping into the main characters…
We have the lines with little links to the original movies: “I’ve got a bad feeling abo…”, “Do you want to know the odds?”.
This might be nostalgic and fun for the fans (and I am not even much of a Star Wars fanatic), but it does not make this movie something new or necessarily good.
Even if much of the “gurl power” is still present, it is not so overt like the previous vomit/movie. In fact we might even catch a surprising MGTOW moment!
It happens when Jyn is trying to shame Cassian for attempting to kill her father, and he says (from my memory, do not quote me):
“Do you think you were the only one to suffer? I have been in this fight ever since I was 6 years old. The difference between you and me is that I did something about it!”And the lady doesn’t respond!
That scene must be the moment where the Disney police got aware of the MGTOW infiltration and replaced the writer for someone else that follows the feminist program. From that moment on, the female superhero magically gets the respect and charisma necessary to drag a bunch of hard-core rebels to a suicide battle…
