Same here. That’s why I decided to diversify and work in different trades, changing every so often. Carpentry, painting, roofing, electrical, plumbing… One year, when I still had the “job” mentality, I worked in a warehouse shipping communications equipment as a customer rep in the mornings and went out in the afternoons installing the same equipment in businesses with a friend who had that small business. It was so convenient. We had our stock of materials right on the other side of the city and for a cheaper price since the warehouse owners and their manager loved my ass. When we needed some parts, devices or cables I’d call over at the warehouse and asked him to set aside this and that to be picked up the next day… Then he got married and that bitch ruined him.
