Started of this year by getting fired by some old hag, cause I well delivered a wrong product to a wrong customer. F~~~, whatever, the f~~~ing thing looked alike.
Then got a job as a guard, but there was an issue…they wrote Full time on the ad, but it was the SECOND time I came for an interview with them telling me it’s part time…well wtf? Btw, the entire management are female! Will get back to that in a minute.
So, this brother calls me, and he is from a very similar culture (East European), to invite me to work for a municipal contract! Although the pay won’t be great, and the place I will be working at is a retirement house, still I feel like there will be more progress. Btw, he called me on the same day as the day that I accepted the part time job. But on that same day I called back the Matriarchy and told them that I’m basically dumping them….there was a long pause of silence, as long as the age of Universe itself! Holy s~~~ I went from 32 to 62 in few seconds and whatever hair I had left turned gray!!! Well needless to say I heard the Son of Satan speak himself. I mean Jesus Christ, you guys should have heard the tone of that voice….I actually got scared it might come for me! F~~~…
Anyway I’m looking forward to work at the new job. Idk, I might have f~~~ed up, or I might not have and more opportunities could be waiting for me. My East European friend told me I could be working in an airport security eventually, which is SUPER f~~~ing cool. And that could get me to the Border security. My other buddy told me about the border thing, I kinda gave it a thought before, but now it seems like a pretty damn good career. So what do yall think? Am I getting somewhere or am I still an idiot who doesn’t know WTF he wants out of life? I’m still thinking though of going for trades, as building things does excite me, but I do need a career, not a f~~~ing Just a Job.

Whats the difference between a job and a career really…either way you are just going to end up doing repetitive s~~~ for money. Either way you are going to consider it work. Most people are going to end up spending their life doing something they really don’t like. Maybe I’m a pessimist or maybe I’m a realist, but ultimately you are probably best off not looking for something you love doing, but something you don’t hate that pays decent.
If you asked me when I was 18 what I wanted to do when I’m older, I wouldn’t have said what I do now. If you told 18 year old me what my job title was now I’d say “What is that?” It pays pretty decent though, and I don’t hate it nearly as much as some jobs I’ve had in the past, so if I have to grind away here for a while, its tolerable.

And I was, started driving as a courier delivery guy, was about to do the CDL thing, but now considering all the CONS I decided to not go into it. I have health issues that would really make it s~~~ty for me, and I have seen some pretty bad accidents on the road while driving that van. And if you read my story about the van, that faken thing is like a big box on skis during winter time. I always drove into a big rig once, going on a freeway. Besides there’s so many regulations….f~~~ it, I dreamed of this travel lifestyle doing the trucking+ making a s~~~ ton of money. Well I’m pretty naive.

Not sure how old you are but here’s my advice. Don’t spend your life working with assholes in s~~~ty-ass companies that would not hesitate to throw you away like an old sock as soon a younger, cheaper or more attractive applicant shows up. Don’t slave your years away for dickheads who would only ride your back like bitches then show you the door as if they do you a favor.
Companies aren’t loyal to their employees anymore, why should you be loyal to them? F~~~ ’em and don’t waste your energy slaving so that others reap the benefits. Find something to do that people need someone to do it for them, anything, fix cars, cut trees, mow lawns, fix or install kitchen cabinets or garage doors or electrical wiring… and get paid in cash. Build yourself a clients contact AND their friends. Work up slowly and save up to do better and bigger things.
That’s what I did for five years to get back on my feet here and now I have a garage with all the tools needed to make furniture and sell them at a third of the going price and still make a hefty profit. I started with a few original pieces, put photos of them in a cheap self-made booklet and started circulating them among the clients I had already acquired. The orders started rolling in a matter of weeks. One wanted her whole kitchen redone, another wanted a computer desk and yet another a wardrobe…F~~~ everybody and their cheap-ass “job”. If you can’t count on yourself these days you’re in a world of hurt.

Anonymous38My first major goal was to get a nice home, debt free and money in the bank. Then to be free to work only a little. I didn’t really care what s~~~ I had to do to get there. Did plenty of jobs I didn’t like. When I achieved all the above, I learned a trade and now do that.
So I never really knew ‘what I wanted to do’ career wise, perhaps it will help you to define what you want outside of ‘career’ and work from there.

So I take it you have a furniture business? I myself am looking to get into trades, I don’t know why I hesitate though. That’s why I’m an idiot, as I’ve been going through 4 different jobs last year:
-S~~~ factory job where I got hurt pretty bad, and almost busted my back. Still feel it when I lift something heavy.
-The weed plantation filled with libtards, feminists and then they said I didn’t fit because I was too “aggressive”. Idk wtf that was all about, I did talk about politics with a buddy there, but they all talk about Trump. Whatever.
-Yet another security guard job where a c~~~’s feelings dictated my term of employment. Needless to say they decided I had a poor customer service, even though nobody complained at me at all…
-Then the s~~~ty delivery job for min wage, with a van and all season tires lol.Well now I have two paths, and one of them is either becoming a municipal law officer, or go intro trades. Although completely different things, but as I gain SOME wisdom I realize that doing what THEY like is BS. I’m thinking a lot about plumbing, carpentry or electrical work. Woodworking really attracts me, but so is plumbing. Thought about HVAC, but not sure about it…

Also, choosing to NOT work around and under women is probably the smartest damn thing you’ve done this year (I have no idea what else you’ve done, it’s a figure of speech, female managers are nearly universally horrible). Working around old people, even older women, you’ll get a feeling of actually giving back and being appreciated (my experience with old people in homes is that they are so grateful having the human contact their families deny them that they’ll basically fellate you on the spot).
It’s okay to just have a job. Careers are for blue-pill maroons. Do what makes you happy OR do what you have to do to pay for the things that make you happy.
Men who have dependent women need careers. The woman has to feel like you haven’t capped out yet–that’s the point of the career, to try and trick the woman into not pulling the hypergamy pin. It usually doesn’t work.

There’s no law that says you can’t have several trades. If you can’t decide, work a bit in all of them as a free-lance or apprentice. You’ll make up your mind pretty quickly knowing what the actual work involves.

All those are good trades to get into and HVAC is in demand. My daughter is doing that now. Know that working with wood you risk to lose one or several fingers, lol. Are you okay with that ? I almost cut my forefinger a few years ago. Thankfully the blade didn’t bite into the bone but half my nail and the tip of my finger got cut clean off. Especially the dude that got so friendly with me, but I heard him say that I was a communist snitch, because I mentioned them talking about politics while defending my point to my supervisor.
It seems like it’s better to work with an asshole who would give you a warning, which is what my supervisor did. But I also wanted to stand up for myself, well that got me nowhere in this f~~~ing hive. The hyenas are always smiling too, but are ready to tear you apart when you turn your back. So that was a good lesson learned. Although the weed plantation, was just that- A plantation, because the only people making real money are the owners and tech guys.

Even back in high school, I honestly never understood why people were interested in having a “career”. I don’t like to stay in one industry that long — after about two years of any sort of work, I get pretty bored with it.
