I don’t know how to truly answer your question, but I would suggest that you dismiss the matter altogether.
An average man will go through periods of his life as both, “Alpha, or Beta.
Let me ask you this?
If we bred Secretariat with a Mule would we actually get a great racehorse?
No!
The female matters just as much!
The question in my opinion is actually a non issue in terms of the life of a man.

Any man can be an Alpha. Look at WW2, the draft created armies of alphas from the masses, the common man did extraordinary things. Most of us have it in us. The sleeper need only be awakened, taught, or compelled in some way to wake from his beta slumber. Stories of the common man who digs deep always make the hair on my scalp stand up and a knot form in my throat. Men of all sorts built civilization.

The most important thing you can do is ask yourself, what do I really want out of life. Really think about it, and always be true to yourself. Then Do it.
