1 take home about $1200 a month after taxes, insurance, child support

then $650 rent, 400 credit cards

so I get about $100 for the month

cheap food at school. laundry in the tub, walk to work. do without.

Today was not much better. These kids are set in their ways. I am just gobsmacked at how stupid their behavior is sometimes.

A teacher was called before the principal today by a parent. Teacher’s policy on no name papers was called into question. She throws out no names. A parent took umbrage to that. Just put your goddamned name on the paper!

I was brought before my boss because I wore tennis shoes on a Friday. Parent thought I was unprofessional. Seriously? I could have worn jeans on Friday FFS! Stupid!

I was a teacher a few years back go 7 year olds. It was a class assignment no one wanted to take, because no one wanted to stay after class and take care of spoiled 7 year olds.

It took me 2 days to make them listen to me like I was a god.
That job, the way you make them worship you, is on you. If you want to change those idiots, figure them out first.

If not, change your job (I sure have done many times in my life, every time because my job got boring).

I can tell you that every person, child or adult has something they respond to, and it never has to be something that will get you into trouble (example: the kid that cant do s~~~, can be shamed because of it, then encouraged to try hard until he will manage to do it, then he will be seeing you as someone who made him overcome a difficulty).

I will tell you what will do you no good: complaining. You are not a blonde 20 year old smoking hot girl that will have guys running around to make you feel important and special.
No, you are the one to do something about it.

I hate teaching and being around kids nowadays. They are really f~~~ed up. My deepest sympathy. I hope you can get out of there maybe? It’s not good feeling this way day after day.
