I have usually learned what to do from Men, and what NOT to do from Women.

Women in accounting must be a different bread. They seems to be more logical than your average female. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of idiots, men and women, in the accounting field. But I have also worked with women who have been very good at what they do and are great to work with. The woman that works directly for me right now is great. She’s very smart, a hard worker, and a pleasure to be around. Also very attractive, so that doesn’t suck.

Gotta give credit where credit is due.

“Have you learned anything positive from a woman in a professional setting?”

While not from a workplace standpoint, I have to answer, yes.

The best doctor I have ever been too was a dark skin female doctor, she and her staff (of women) were very polite. The doctor had a wonderful bedside manner. The doctor took the time explain to me the problems she found and what my treatment options were.

That doctor helped me a lot.

Tell me how many things have one woman achieved and i will tell you possibly how many hoops they had to jump if you know what i mean…

    null

Women turn the work place into a toxic waste, damn backstabbers always looking to complain on you to the boss so you get fired, also they love to take the moral high ground but most of them come to work late or miss work entirely for days, because they were “sick”. I lot of times i was called to come to work and i never received a thank you even….

This type of BS made me seek my own line of work, working at home, working anywhere that no woman was involved, neither having to work with poor manginas, simps and backstabbers. The hell with all of them, doesn’t matter if they have a dick or not…

Yea, they are also the masters of the grapevine and spreading rumors. When you are dealing with a bitch in the workplace know that 100% of what you say will be repeated, and another 25% that you didn’t say, will be repeated.

The Man in the Mountain, where did you find that picture from? That is the cleanest metaphoric representation of a woman riding the c~~~ carousel I have seen.

You don’t learn anything positive from them, but you do learn a lot from working with them. You learn to expand your skillset and become a jack of all trades type, because if you are lucky they only do their job duties. If they see something else that needs done, they complain or ask why no one is doing it. Most men will always jump in and do something they see that needs done, and is not some specific person’s duties, to make things run smoothly. So the more women, the more men have to fil these voids in responsibility.

I couldn’t agree more. I’ve learned more from working with them. I’ve learned to keep my head on a swivel and to walk on eggshells. Women get so offended by everything, that I don’t even attempt to tell jokes with the guys here.

    I just do my work.

    Fuck bitches... literally and metaphorically

I’ve worked with women for years. In my own limited experience, these guidelines have been helpful.
    1. Silence is golden. Learn to listen. Learn to be quiet. Smile, but shut up.
    2. Expect drama. Learn to ignore it. Don’t get involved.
    3. Never, never, never allow any type of personal relationship to exist with your female coworkers. Keep it professional.
    4. Respect the capability of a woman to harm you. Handle women like you would a high explosive.
    5. Don’t complain about anything in front of other women. Don’t tell jokes to women, even if the jokes seem harmless.

I really haven’t to be honest. In fact it’s been the exact opposite. I’ll list some if the things that I’ve learned from women in the workplace:

    1. Befriend management via flirting because you know that your incompetent and would get fired otherwise.

    2. Fiend offence at innocuous statements in order to control the conversation. f need be, go to management and report said offence so that the gynocentric human resources department will back you up.

    3. When pregnant and on special duty, stay on the cell phone and don’t pay attention to your job. It’s okay because “you’ve created life” and management cant say anthing.

    4. Female management can’t say anything directly and when confronted about that they become angry and paint me as a bad person.

    5. Gossip is more important than manners or being polite. “Here, look at my new boyfriend,” “Isn’t my baby just the cutest?” “So-and-so is such a jerk! I’m glad that you’re not like that.”

    6. Simple directions become a delicate situation. “Why are you talking down to me?” or “I like to learn on my own!”

    7. Lies aren’t called lies by women, they’re called opinions or “points of view.”

    8. Everything passes through some emotional filter. It’s crazy.

I will say that most women that I worked with are not like that. However, the only people I have ever worked with that caused major s~~~ were all women. And it only takes one to make life miserable. We have one in our building and she is a pain in the ass. There have been so many good people leave our company because of her. Her department has a bad reputation around town because of her.

Yes. I have learned that if you have a left wing type female boss women and minorities will have an easier time of moving up the ladder vs. white males who work harder or are more qualified. Been there done that. To be fair, I have also seen it happen with a leftist white male boss as well. He clearly gave a ton more leeway for non white males while he held the white males to much higher standards. As in, things that a white male would have been fired for in an instant was not much of an issue with him when others did it.

I guess that wouldn’t be positive depending on which seat you sit in in these situations, but it was all I could come up with…

Had a female boss once, it was the first job I ever had and I did learn a few things:

    1. I could work a complete s~~~ job with a c~~~ screaming at me over nothing if I ever really had to.
    2. … ok maybe I learned one thing.

I learned to never hire a woman ever again. And that lesson has served me very well ever since.
