Hey gents,
Last night I got a frantic, panicked call from my Asian friend who i was sharing the flat with, (he lives above the biggest white trailer trash c~~~ on the planet), and he begs me to come over and help him.
For those of you not in the know, i used to live with him, and he deals with some vile, hostile, selfish c~~~ neighbors- punk ass little c~~~s in their early to mid 20s who think they can do wtf they like when they like. Playing loud as f~~~ music until 4am on weekends, etc etc etc.
So i get there in my car, with a hammer down my pants, and a hunting knife strapped to my side, in its holster thing. I hear night club volume music coming from one of the flats which has its windows wide open. Bare in mind, i have just finished a 14 hour shift at my day job then i did my bouncer job afterwards. I am surprisingly awake and focused, probably because of the adrenaline surging through my body.
Before i can get out of my car i see a Police van approach and pull up behind me. I put the hammer in the side of my drivers door, but kept the knife on me. I went over to them to have a chat and told them what the deal was, and they told me they were waiting to noise control to turn up and issue paper work.
!0 mins later i see the police van leaving from my friends apartment window, thinking great…what now?
Within seconds, we heard several people run up the steps to my friends place and someone violently punched the siding glass door which is the door to access the place. (The front door.) Then i hear “open up this f~~~ing door now c~~~!!!”.
I pulled out my knife i could hear at least 3 people outside and opened the curtains. There infront of me what the f~~~ing whore from downstairs screwing her face up trying to look mean and was demanding i open the door. I saw 3 guys to the right of her obviously waiting for me to open the door then jump me. Of course, im not stupid and keep the door bolted.
She is obviously a druggie, she was talking absolute s~~~e as she usually does. One of the guys said to me “I will f~~~ you up!” to which i replied with, with the knife visible and pointing toward them, “I will f~~~ing KILL you”.
There was a glass sliding door between us but the situation was serious enough for me to be ready to stab one of these c~~~s in the throat should they try and break in or whatever.
when this bitch finally noticed the knife she shat herself, started crying and was convinced I was going to stab her. And i said i would if she didnt f~~~ off. This c~~~ had gotten her boyfreind and his mates to come up to intimidate us, which doesnt work on me, but its hilarious how this pussy is such a tough guy when hes got his freinds to back him up. He has never had the b~~~~ to face me me one on one.
Somehow the police turned up again, about 5 cops in their mid 30s, and were demanding that they get off my friends balcony.
I honestly dont remember much after that. Theres prob a bit that ive forgotten to tell. S~~~ like that happens so fast, you know what i mean.
THe cops came to the door and i still had the knife in my hand when i opened the door to the. They asked me politely to put the knife down and i told them i wasnt going to use it it was just for scare tactics, but they understood and i wasn’t in trouble for it.
Anyhoo, the night ended with some of those pieces of s~~~ arguing with the police, the c~~~s were issues with an actual 72 hour noise cease thingy, and the music was switched off. I talked to the police a bit more afterwards and I suddenly recognized one of the police, his son goes to my sons school! Never knew he was a cop. My son plays with his son as well and he was asking if i had my son with me and i said no way mate, i wouldn’t have him here at all. He gave me his address and a card and said to call him about and apartment he knows about hat my friend could move into and i said thanks very much and they hung around outside for a bit then left.
I have never experienced s~~~ like this in the UK, and ive lived in dives and s~~~holes there many times. There is something inherently wrong with these Kiwi c~~~s. Inbred pond life pieces of s~~~. This is the youth of NZ im talking about, and the majority of kiwis especially in Christchurch. There are exceptions, and i hate to tar everyone with the same brush, but most of these people are f~~~ing backward.
Who the f~~~ comes to someones front door punching the windows and demanding to come out so they can assault someone? They failed to intimidate me but i think my friend almost had a heart attack.
He’s a mate so i do what i can for a mate, i will always help out. But this s~~~ was mental, these c~~~s have no morals or nothing. Trailer trash scum.
I wanted to ask you American gents something if i may-if this happened in your neck of the woods, are you guys allowed to blow these motherf~~~ers heads off? Can you shoot them if they trespass? How i would have loved to have shot those f~~~ing t~~~s in the face.
My friend is now moving in a week and told me he has a lawyer to get him out of the lease of the property etc. But i hope something is done about finding him a new place. He doesn’t have the money to just bail out and apply for a new place. If i had a place of my own id let him stay whenever he wanted free of charge.
Anyway, thanks for reading. We both now leave and enter his rented property armed with weapons. Its f~~~ing ridiculous but these people are unhinged and you never know if they will be waiting i nthe dark one night to jump one of us.

However firearms are legal for purchase, and if you live in a s~~~hole here, it’s a good idea to have one or two. The only difference from the UK, is in the U.S you could have pointed a firearm at them to let them know what would happen if they entered, but not fire any shots.
In the U.S you can also take home defense courses. Of course the best option is to call the cops, but always be prepared, because they can’t be everywhere all the time.

Is it different rules for different states? Thats one thing ive never understood about USA. The rules and laws vary greatly from state to state. What state are you in? I thought if someone trespassed or invaded your home you could fill them with lead?

Bars, nightclubs, they are all s~~~ holes where men pay endless attention to women , and women go out of their way to seek as much attention as they can possibly get with no skills or talent.

I did it for the money and I made pretty good coin at the time.
3 nights paid better than my full time job during the week.It was the first time I ever “walked out” on a job. What really done me in was seeing woo-girls (under 30!) constantly coming in groups and celebrating their divorce – like they were HAPPY about it – and carrying on with such screaming and despicable behavior that I just couldn’t take it anymore. They booked parties for this, and if they weren’t celebrating their divorce…. they were there to celebrate their engagement and ended up blowing some stripper in the toilet the night before her wedding. S~~~ that would turn your hair white.
So one day I just pulled the cash drawer out of the till and walked over to the manager, handed it to him, and said “I’m done. I can’t take this s~~~ anymore”… and I walked out.
I remember it was the night of a world series soccer game. I don’t remember who won, but It was so liberating that I
walkedskipped all the way home with a smile on my face. It took like 4 hours. I watched a lot of videos before I made my purchase they people sprayed with the stuff start falling on the ground crying and gasping for breath in approximately 15 seconds.
Sabre is a good brand, you can get the foam and you don’t have to be very accurate. Call the cops after you spray the person and your liability will be drastically lessened. As far as I know these products are legal all over the world.
I work in the security industry so I’ve had my blood boiling too, and it’s possible to make grave errors when adrenaline is flying all over the place.

I’d help my mate find a new apartment. And if the landlord bitches about breaking the lease or tries to withhold the deposit, I’d show him the repeated police reports and tell him he’ll get utterly f~~~ed in court for allowing this tenancy situation.
Knife? A great sword would have been more appropriate. Considering you’re a bouncer, you can behead a fully grown man with one swing!
Apologize for promoting violence. But sometimes it becomes impossible to keep your cool. Especially when 3-4 guys gang up on you.
I picked up a few tricks in juvie- for eg. 2 guys used to stay behind the dorm room early in the morning and jump me; the only way I could escape was with a perfect jawbreaker executed with pinpoint precision. Followed by a kick in the nuts or (if that’s too girly for you) a pointed fist right at the solar plexuses. Leaves them gasping for breath.
But as km says…never put your own life in danger. Even if its your friend, go in WITH the cops, because they have all the right in the world to blow somebody’s brains off, not you.

It depends on the state in question and, sometimes, even the city/county within the state. The US is a federal republic and the states are given wide leeway on a number of issues. The Feds have been slowly imposing more uniformity under the guise of equal rights while using a torturous application of the “full faith & credit” clause of the Constitution, but there are still great differences between states.
Depending on the state, your legal responses could range from being able shoot the assholes when they broke into the apartment to simply fleeing. As mentioned in the hurricane thread last month, some states have “stand your ground” statutes. In those states you’re able to defend yourself and your property with lethal force. In other states, you can only use lethal force to save your own life from imminent harm. In yet other states, you’re legally required to flee is an escape route is present.
Just with divorce, common law marriage, “palimony”, and other legal topics we discuss here, you have to research the specific laws in your area.
Finally, regarding “warning shots”. There is no such thing as a “warning shot” and no law enforcement agency teaches such foolishness. Warning shots are a Hollywood myth. You only draw a firearm when you’re ready to use it. You don’t wave one around, you don’t fire stray rounds to prove you mean business. You present a firearm when you’re ready to put a round through your target’s center of mass. Period.

Because of my “almost 24/7” job, I had the need to go out eating in restaurants twice a day and late at night very often. commendable that you went to the aid of your friend/exroomate. but can’t say I’d react the same in the same situation. If he is in fear for his life, he needs cops in the residence immediately. Not sitting outside waiting to issue tickets due to noise. If he thinks it’s going to be an ongoing safety issue, he needs to get his s~~~ and GTFO of that place since I doubt the situation will be any less volatile in the future.
If you want to get involved directly, that is your choice, but you need to understand that you’re interjecting yourself in a dangerous situation. You could get injured or killed, if you hurt or kill one of these crackheads, you could go to jail. If the cops saw you as a threat, they could shoot you, then wash their hands of the shooting immediately afterwards. Like marriage, a no-win situation. At best, you break even.

Dashing, I haven’t heard about any legal cases stemming directly from our VP’s advice to just fire your shotgun through the door, but even if it’s legal it’s still not the best advice.
In my town in Texas about 15 years ago we had an elderly man kill a 12 year old with a shotgun for trying to steal a prize rooster. He never saw the inside of a jail cell let alone court.
One of our states (Wyoming) now has open or concealed carry without license for any state resident. Licensing laws apply for out of state people, and the state laws regarding self/property defense are extremely lenient. It’s a wild west state with the lowest population of all 50 so they can afford the rare scuffle.
In your recent situation I wouldn’t have even considered using the gun. It doesn’t meet my standard for lethal force, and I’d never consider brandishing. I don’t want them knowing that I have it until I’ve already made the decision to pull the trigger.

I can’t agree with KM more about the club scene, it’s a mental deprivation unit with loud s~~~ty music, hypnotic flashing lights with alcohol and drugs and ample supply of fresh new insanity!
For home defense I recommend pepper spray. That stuff has come a long way in the last 15 years.
