When I was in construction, their was one women that I remember in particular that was prone to injuries, and often out on workmen’s comp. I didn’t know her well, but I knew that she was really a “tomboy” at heart. The men that worked with her seemed to enjoy her company on the job as well as at the bar after work. She was not gay and enjoyed pounding down the beers with “the boys” after work.

Personality wise, she was about the best female employee that you could have working in this environment, but she couldn’t keep up with the physical demands.

Women would want the managerial positions where they sit in air conditioned offices all day.
Not many women would want to perform actual work.
But if they did perform actual work, they would prefer to work 20 hours/week and get paid like the men who work 60 hours/week.

If I learned anything about women is that they don’t really want to do anything. They just want to complain about the things that aren’t handed to them and take the credit for the the things someone else is doing.

They don’t want to do an honest day’s labor, they feel no satisfaction or an increase of self-worth from a job well done. My ex used to say: “tell me what else I’d be good at”. She only wanted to hear she would be good at it, there wasn’t a chance in hell she actually wanted to go out and do it.

Honestly I don’t think women want to be CEO’s… they just want the credit, status and money of a CEO and not the pride of running a company and running it well nor do they give a s~~~ about the people that work at it or the families they support.

I think that they want, because of the “power” regarding the position. They want power and control above everything. Obviously, if that require any effort, they won’t make it, because they are lazy asses. But I agree with you, any position that women want, is because of money and status, nothing more. Even their husbands, they brainwash them to take positions that are “better” for them, not for their husbands.

I could not imagine the women I work with attempting manual labor. These are women who run space heaters under their desks year-round and wear “typing mittens” (mittens with finger holes) because the office is “cold.”

First time I’ve ever seen that.
