Today I saw proof that females are not getting the high paid jobs (for my area).

There is late season road construction going on. Laying Asphalt. I counted 15 men on the crew, not one female.

Not one female was allowed to dump and shovel 500 degree F asphalt. Not one female was allowed to work a 10 hour day sucking that asphalt fume smell.

FYI, that asphalt laying smell is the smell of cancer. It is.

Damn the patriarchy.

We need a tax payers paid program to get more females into asphalt laying careers.

We will never have gender equality until 50% of Asphalt layers are female.

Moreover, you need brains and experience even if you’re a basic soil tiller. How many women would qualify for that?

Women should not be allowed anywhere near a road. Can you imagine the condition of the road? It will fall apart within the first week. Pot holes galore and fatalities will go through the rough!
