    Most women I know who did program only learned it up to the point where they can customize their s~~~ty blogs with pink and cutesy s~~~ all over them. They never wanted to delve into the deeper sides of programming or the more advanced topics.

    Recently finished my Phd at a university. The university gave research grants to female postdocs and created a tenure track position for female applicants only. I’m not entirely sure if what they did was legal.

    edit:
    I should also point out that this kind of thing seems to also be infecting east Asian countries. While I was looking for a job one of my connections mentioned that a Japanese university was looking for a female assistant professor.
