I wasn’t gonna comment on this thread until the morning but here goes anyway!

For weed prevention I’m using wood floor underlay paper torn in pieces to cover the ground and wood chips to hold it down. I did crater mounds this year to conserve on plant food.

I’m using our own plant food formulated from high purity and highly soluble ingredients, the crater is to hold the feed water in place for saturation. (expensive plant food)

This year I’m stringing the tomatoes between stakes and all the peppers grown in pots (40 pepper plants).

I’m making a tow behind 55 gal. water barrel for fertilizing, I’m going all out, b~~~~ to the walls this year!

I need some more garden beds!

No problemo! There’s plenty of abandoned lots here to convert to farming! I’m clearing #3.
