A younger acquaintance of mine still dates. He’s beginning to see the light and should a MGTOW within the next couple years though.

Anyway, he was telling me a while back about a date he’d arranged at a nice restaurant. He’d first met the woman in question at some public function, run into her a couple of times, met for coffee/drinks a couple of times, and finally decided to spring for a good meal.

They arrive, are seated, start looking over the wine list, and BAM out comes her smartphone. My friend follows some earlier advice I’d given him, takes out his phone, makes a show of turning it off, and says “Good idea, this way we won’t be bothered.”

She smiles, puts her phone on the table, and doesn’t turn it off.

Before the wine and hors d’oeuvres even arrive, he has had enough. She couldn’t even stay focused long enough on the human being across the table to help select the wine or appetizers.

While she’s got her head buried in her phone again, he excuses himself, and walks away to find the waiter. He pays for the booze and food plus a healthy tip, writes a short note to be delivered, and tells the waiter he must leave. After that he’s out the door and in his car driving away.

The note read “I could tell you are busy and didn’t want to interrupt you. Enjoying your evening.”

His phone “blew up” that night and for the next couple of days. As much as he wanted to tell her off, he wisely maintained radio silence. As he put it “I’m not here to teach alleged adults basic manners.”

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

I don’t disagree with much of what is said here, but to offer another point of view, when “online dating” is mentioned on here a common response is “only the lowest of women are on online dating” so then if this is true, then smart phones have not killed modern dating, they have only killed dating the lowest women. I think much more has to do with modern women’s attitudes, feminism etc. Colleges and tv brainwashing them with their liberal agendas, free government handouts etc. Women don’t respect men and having the ability to make a living on their own, they don’t need men. Maybe “dating” is still possible for those young but maybe past 20 it quickly goes downhill. IDK man, women are nothing but trouble, nothing but problems.

I think the point is that the women don’t know they are the lowest of the low. They think their vagina is made of gold. I literally had this experience before. I was on a Tinder date, and I left this girl who had her head buried in the phone. I ignored it at first hoping she would put the damn thing down. I finally said enough was enough. I just got up, and went to pay my half of the bill. I came back with her half of the bill, and told her, “have a good one”.

The conversation played out like this:
Her: “Why are you leaving?”
Me: “This has been the worst dating experience of my life, and I’m not wasting my time on this bulls~~~”.
Her: “Wow!”, ” You are just going to leave me here?!”, “How am I getting home?!”.
Me: “I sure am princess, you have a phone which you are pretty damn fond of, so call yourself a f~~~ing UBER!!!”.

I then left that bitch with her stupid look on her face. I left her with no ride, and her half of the bill. You should have seen her face as everyone in the restaurant was laughing at her. I didn’t care. NFG to the bitches!

Why would you even go on a date in the first place?

If I was going to a good restaurant, I would always take some friends so we could shoot the breeze and have a good time, over bringing a female stranger whom I know 9 times out of 10 is going to be a complete airhead and has done absolutely nothing to deserve my time and presence.

I’ve never taken a woman that I’m not f~~~ing out to a date, and even then, I think I can count the number of times I did on one or two hands.
